We spent a little more on the beachfront chalets and did not regret it at all. Senja bay's the best resort on coral bay (even better than shari-la, in our opinion) because its the only one that has a beach and water area that is restricted from boats. the other places have motor boats parked in front of them and... It was a great experience getting to the island. Senja bay resort is very easy to find as it sits on coral bay, with a great beach for snorkelling in front of the hotel. Breakfast was buffet style, or you could choose to pay off the menu. It included both local and western food. The room was very very basic... More

Senja Bay Resort isn't really a resort as much as the name states. It is a rather basic resort which has a nice dining area. The rooms are split in to sea front, 2nd level and 3rd level. The pricing wasn't that cheap considering (RM250) what is available in the bay as well as around Perhentian Kecil and Besar. I... More

Nice hotel in a great place. Very beautiful view from the room and balcony. We were in a off season, so the value was very good. Walls in the room were very thin like paper! :) Hotel location is straight on the beach. You can go snorkeling like 20 meters from hotel.

We arrived on Coral Bay not having booked a hotel, and looked at a few places before deciding to stay here. If you want to get the cheapest place possible, there are other hotels nearby with very basic run down rooms that cost about RM80 a night. We paid RM160 for a room at Senja and were very happy we... I come with a mixed group member from a different countries. As a local I found that the food is so bad and the package is crazy and not practical at all. BBq is serve with a small portion and u r not enjoying it at all. From the first impression the resort seemed like a local tradisional so it sould... More

Lovely location, friends of ours recommended Coral Bay and Senja and we were very happy to be there. The beach isn't very deep - the tide comes in and washes away some of the cafe tables - but the sand is beautiful, very picturesque location, and was perfect for snorkeling / swimming (safer than the busier, dirtier Long Beach -... My only option – would never have stayed otherwise. The prices are extortionate for incredibly basic huts. I had to stay here as the entire island was full due to labour day. I had one of the last rooms with a lovely sea view. THE DOWN SIDE IS THAT ROOM 30 IS DIRECTLY BEHIND THE KITCHEN VENT – THE smell... More

Rooms were clean but basic. Morning views onto the beach from bungalows on the hill are idealic. We stayed in the non-AC rooms, which do remain cool during the eve as the fans are quite strong. Staff was friendly. The pre-paid breaky was okay, nothing to write home about. This beach, Coral Bay is much nicer than Long Beach (tons... More

I fell in love with a beautifull beachhouse at Senja's. The house was great and quiet, but the rest of Senja's services where terrible. They told me to wait for cleaning before I could check in and after 1,5 hours it still wasn't cleaned. Crazy, because there were at least 5 stafmembers doin nothing in the meanwhile. The restaurant is... More
