We were very satisfied with our room with fan and Air conditioning, with an amazing view of the sea. If you have a loud neighbours you might hear them but you never know whos that gonna be. Breakfast was ok, served on terrace with beautiful views of sea and beach. staff was very helpful and friendly although they couldnt fix... More

we stayed 4 nights with our family of 5 (three children) in Senja Bay Resort, in one of the 'Family rooms'. It is huge, with a double bed and 4 single beds, ik looks more like a dorm room actually. The Perhentians are a fantastic place to spend a couple of days (or the rest of your life :-D), so... More

I am glad I choose the hotel and coral bay over long beach. It's quieter and nicer. Senja is pretty much basic accommodation yet perhaps the most luxury on coral bay, right on the beach:) I stayed in #19, bathroom smells strange but still bearable. wi-fi is almost not working at all and my data roaming was always 2G (non-existent)... we stayed 4 nights! the beach is definitely much cleaner than long beach and senja's "restaurant" is in a perfect spot overlooking the bay any time of the day! the staff was very friendly, unfortunately to our disappointment our bungalow was not cleaned before we checked in and the bathroom was in need of renovations. however the room was alright,... Unless you're willing to spend a ton on accommodation on these islands, nothing you'll get will be luxury. Senja Bay is at the higher end of the cheaper accommodation on the island, both price wise and quality wise, or that's the impression I got from my stay on the island. In other words, you'll be paying a bit more than... More

My friend and I stayed here from 26th to 29th July (3 nights). Have to say we were quite worried about getting a place because it was supposedly peak period and we had no reservations. After some research, we decided to heed the advice of previous visitors and not make reservations. Within 1 hour of arriving we managed to find... More

Definitely not a resort, as its name suggests, but I think the term resort is used quite a lot in this area....really just basic wooden cabins - a great spot overlooking the beach, or right on the beach. It was nice to be up on the hilltop cabin, with fantastic views over the bay, amongst the trees. Staff were always... More

Lovely resort but badly let down by its cafe, which blares out 70s heavy metal all through the day. We asked them to turn it down (or off) but were told the manager likes it that way. Unless you want to see one of the world's most beautiful sunsets (senja means 'sunset') to high-decibel Spandau Ballet, then this resort is... More

We were staying on the bigger island and took a water taxi over to long beach, then walked through to Coral Bay as we needed to book some accommodation for a couple nights in advance. We chose to stay at Coral Bay over Long Beach, as Long Beach looked filthy - paradise lost. The staff at Senja showed us an... More

First of all, I need to give a huge thanks to the staff at Senja Bay. We came to Perhentian Kecil in hope to book accomodations along the stay, but during the weekend this was quite impossible. The staff went out of their ways to try to find us a vacant room and did so, even though we had to... More
