It was awful experience in that resort, it started with the very unfriendly rude staff (especially the old manager) he was shouting and ignoring us in a rude way. Before we checked in and while we are waiting to get our rooms ready we had to pay 1 RM to use the old unusual toilets (they were the old style... More

We stayed in the Rising Sun hut in July after spending two nights on the Main Beach in Besar, which we werent keen on. The accomodation is basic but we found it clean. The bathroom was 'unusual' but we had no issue with it. The view of the bay from our balcony was just beautiful. We found the restaurant really... More

If you are in Malaysia go here. It was such a wonderful place. The accommodation is basic and clean. Just what you want (we are backpacking). It cost 50 rn for a double, shared bathroom. D'lagoon is family run, friendly and the food is great. A nice, quiet beach to relax, sit in a hammock, read a book. But the... More

Great place to relax. We enjoyed the beach and snorkeling very much! The coral here are superb and a lot of fish. From turtles, nemo fish, octopus and many2 mores. Staff and owner are friendly. Much more better if compare to our Krabi trip. Recommended!

Although the beach looks nice and the restaurant is ok, the bungalows are probably the worst I have ever stayed in across South East Asia. Wood is about to crush, rooms are full of mosquitos, rats are running underneath the bungalow all night long. Bathroom doesnt deserve to be named as such. It's basically a room with one tap, an... Had a lovely stay at D'Lagoon. Staff very helpful and friendly with organising snorkelling trips and boats to other islands/beaches Real definition of paradise - some other resorts looked great but they're on the popular beach fronts so are quite noisy. 4 beautiful beaches within walking distance Thanks very much for our lovely stay

D'lagoon is a nice and quiet place, which has its own beach. We stayed in the hostel part of D'lagoon, the room was cheap and very simple, but you will never stay in the room, because the beach is so beautiful and exciting! The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. Like everywhere in Malaysia, they speak English very well.... More

We stayed at D'Lagoon for 4 nights, we had a great time! We stayed at the hostel part in a 12 bed dorm. The facilities were simple, but we had everything we needed. D'Lagoon has its very own beach, they rent out snorkelling equipment and the fish and corals around here are beautiful! There is a restaurant with good and... More
