The place is dirty and full of bed bugs. The position is very nice with a beautiful view on the beach. It's quite.. far from the noise of the night parties. The room could be nice but unfortunately very bad menaged.... they never clean up the room, sheets are dirty, windows also... Full of mosquitos (no net provided) and bed... More

While D'Rock was one of the more expensive ones on the island (RM130 a night at the end of August - but only RM90 if you book with Turtle Bay Divers!) I really liked the chalets. They were very clean with towels and en suite and a balcony with a table and chairs looking out onto the ocean and 24... More

My friend and I stayed here for two nights after moving from the other Perhentian island as it was too quiet and we wanted to be on Long Beach. Word of warning, it is advisable to book your accommodation on the Perhentian islands in advance, if you can, as not all the places take advance bookings, and backpackers do traipse... More

Severely overpriced! £40 a night for a private double room with en suite...of which the pipe under the sink wasn't even attached so all the water just went right through the sink to the floor, even your toothpaste. Yes, we had a spectacular view of the sea on long beach but the room was very basic and also full of... More

Despite warnings to book ahead, we arrived on the island at lunchtime and then trudged around looking for a room (we prefer to see them first), this place had one room going and it was the best option we found (another was very basic, no view and on coral bay side which we didn't like so much, another dorms only)... Very basic and simple accomodation. Walls paper thin and can literally hear everything going on next door. Just hope your neighbours are quiet people. Toilet basic but reasonably clean. Stayed twice first stay nothing provided, but at least soap and shampoo was provided during my 2nd stay. Plus side is nice views as its quite high up. Suitable for divers... More

We stayed in one of the basic fan rooms. It was alright for 2 nights and we get the view of sunrise along with few rows of chalets in front. The hike up is quite a workout, people with knee problems should just skip this. They dont provide breakfast with the amount u paid but you can enjoy a good... More

Stayed at the Rock Garden for three nights and paid the top end (RM350 a night) for a superior, sea-view chalet. Probably shouldn't have paid this much but struggled to find other accommodation on the island at short notice (most rooms are booked in advance/ go by 12pm each day). Room very basic but A/C very effective. Gorgeous views of... More

Stayed here last year with two friends, after 3 days we switched to a smaller, cheaper chalet. I stupidly left behind my wallet but the cleaners had already been in and cleaned the room, the wallet, my bank cards and 800RM were gone, the staff found it amusing. Obviously no police on the island and the staff know this. We... More

In short it's overpriced for very basic rooms. They are constructing new wooden chalets and start work almost at sunrise so don't stay here if you want a relaxing stay. The beds are comfy but they need a good clean, I was glad I had my own sleeping sack as I didn't trust the bedding. They don't provide mossie nets... More
