Perhentian means 'place to stop' and you should stop at Abdul's when you want to go to the Perhentian Island's. The chalets of Abdul's are just perfect. Consider that you're in a less developed part of Malaysia and that the standard overall is less than in KL for example. My girlfriend and I stayed in chalet no. 1 which is... More

A great little gem, great location away from everything bad in perhentian. We had a beach chalet and enjoyed our week at abdul. The food isn't great, but not why you live here. And how the malaysian army or government can justify building the pier on the middle of this beautiful beach is just evil. Now thats not abduls fault.... More

We really enjoyed staying at Abdul's Chalet. A clean room has simple equipments including hot shower, air condition and a mini fridge. We spent the day on the beach and got very tired in the end of the day so it was enough! There is very relaxing and beautiful beach in front of it. Actually there aren't many places to... More

We went 4 friend from Spain. We went during last part of the season! We could check all rooms in tuna bay, sahula, coconut.... and we decided to take this hotel because the rooms were new, clean and nice location!!! AC too! Wifi is not working very well and it's only in the restaurant! Restaurant food didn't like to much... More

Wonderful location and excellent value for money. Tuna bay wanted about 90 quid a night for a minimum of 7 nights relative to about 38 a triple chalet at Abdul's. We found it basic but clean and excellent value. Would recommend and try for a sea view if possible. Air con worked well and location to jetty was easy. We... More

Abdul's Chalet is located on Perhentian Besar (big island) and we liked that it was a lot quieter and peaceful than Kecil. There were more families and couples there. The room was relatively clean and the bathroom was spacious. No TV in the room, but there was air conditioning, a water heater as well as a mini-fridge. The room was... More

Stayed here last year and the beachfront chalet was wonderful. Its a no-frills chalet and theres not much to do on this side of the island. So, if you are looking for some peace and relaxation, this is a good place. We took the full board package and the meals provided were very tasty. Definitely worth it. The best part,... More

I loved it at Abdul's Chalets. My bungalow ( to call it a chalet is fanciful) was right on the beach with coconut palms and lots of deck chairs to kick back in. It's literally just a stroll out your door into the turquoise sea. Rooms are very basic, clean, good air-con, overhead fan, comfortable beds and have a little... More

Stayed down the beach at Tuna Bay but ate here several times. Rooms looked (at least from the outside) at least as good as Tuna Bay but a little less western. Staffed by friendly people with great food and drinks (non alcoholic) available. Try sharing the spicy belacan and the cooling coconut sauce seafood dishes. Great teh tarak too.

We stayed at Abdul's for 2 nights and had a very nice stay. The chalets are very clean, and surprisingly new. We had no mosquito problems at all (which we were scared of after reading reviews for other places), and the AC worked perfectly, allowing us to have a good night sleep in spite of the high temperatures outside. After... More
