This hotel is really gooooood, we had a big room with balcony for 5 nights. The island is amazing: White sand, coconut trees, crystal clear water, nice beach! By speedboat from the jetty in Kuala Besut, it takes around 35 minutes to get to the resort. The hotel staff is really nice and helpful. Zila at the reception, wow! Thank... More

Location is good (quiet beach of Perhentian Besar). Rooms are basic. Electricity is intermittent - kept cutting off in the middle of night hence less comfortable to sleep. Negative points are - 1) Drinking water is not free (a 1.5L water costs RM4), so it can be quite costly since the island is very hot. 2) Meals are not included... More

There isn't many places to choose from on perhentian besar, think most are basic like coco hut. Staff were nice, breakfast was below average. Staying in a wooden hut always involves insects and weird smells. The sun loungers definitely need cushions on. The wifi is really poor - as expected on the island. BUT the snorkelling is amazing and the... More

This place.. Wow! The beauty of the island pretty much makes it impossible for this resort to fail in anyway. The chalets are very basic, but the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Even tho the breakfast and foods aren't the best I've had, the view of the ocean and sunset from the restaurant makes it amazing. On top of... More

The location is convenient and at a reasonable rate. We've stayed for 2 nights at the Cozy chalet. Room was spacious and clean with 2 queen size beds, a balcony overlooking the garden/sea, however slight down sight was: 1) Old box TV with super limited channel, bad connection. 2) Only 2 power-points provided in room, which were occupied by TV... The room was basic (as expected), but clean and neat so had no issues. The bathroom was an all in one wet room which seems to be the trend on the island. We stayed in a sea view room which was only a few metres away from the water. The staff we very friendly, however the food wasn't the best.... More

We paid about a total of RM740 for 3D2N package (RM640 per person) inclusive of hotel, airport transport return (RM60 per person), boat transfer, 6x meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), snorkelling trip (additional RM40 for Redang and Lang Tengah) including equipments. Room - We paid extra for the seaview but it was covered by trees and other chalets. It's just ridiculous... More

Just had an excellent stay. We stayed in one of the newly-renovated rooms on the beach which was large, clean and well-designed. Food and service in the restaurant was excellent. All the snorkeling trips were enjoyable except for the ones to the area where they take you to look for the turtle. All the boats chase after the turtle, some... More

The huts actually look quite nice from the outside and have a porch with two chairs where it's nice to sit and relax. Inside however they are very basic, there was no covering sheet for the bed (when I asked I was told that what looked like a runner was the cover) and although the room had a TV and... More
