we stayed 6 nights. this is the best moment to relax our trip to Malaysia. the room on the beach was spacious and pleasant. the hotel enjoys a superb location for snorkelling. you will see many different tropical fish and coral. take care of these corals and do not step on it as some tourists. these are very fragile organisms.... I stayed at Tuna Bay around the same time last year....it hasn't changed! It's just as beautiful and relaxing as I remembered it. This time I was travelling with a friend and we stayed in one of the superior delux beach villas up the opposite end of the restaurant, it was perfect! Great deck with 2 deck chairs to sit... More

This place was amazing! Beach off the front of the chalet, we spent our days snorkelling with sea turtles and sharks, scuba diving, eating fresh seafood and drinking cheap beer. The staff was exceptionally friendly. I've been traveling a whole lot for the past 20 years and this was probably one of the best holidays. I did not feel like... More

Mid-September, I sent 5 nights in a super deluxe sea view chalet (1A). This simple bedroom with fan and air conditioning was the most expensive of this hotel but you have a terrace with three sunbeds and a table and two chairs. This means you don't have any problems to find a sunbed on the beach (50 sunbeds without mattress... More

Tuna was one of the resorts that I stayed during my 2 weeks stay in Perhentian and Lang Tengah. Staff Among the resorts that I stayed (Bubu, Perhentian Island Resort and Bayu) Tuna staffs win hands down in terms of friendly service. They are very attentive and accommodating. When we had some problem opening the safe in the room at... More

I just went for dinner and drinks with my friends. I was staying in New cocohut chalet and we got tired of food there so we decided to try out tuna bay food. Really good food and really good drinks. Must try Tom Yam soup, nescafe frape, kilan garlic.

Stayed here for a 3 day 2 night beach holiday, and i would recommend it. The hotel grounds are nice, and clean. The restaurant was good, albeit expensive. (I recommend going to the cocohut restaurant for dinner instead). The rooms itself were clean, and comfortable, and surprisingly quiet, and i would say the rooms are around the 3 star bar.... More

This is my first visit to Tuna Bay, I must say the its okay, I wouldnt say its very good or very bad. An average experience for me. I travelled as couple, they arranged transport from the airport to the jetty and also the boat to the island. Our boat did stop halfway in the middle of the sea while... More

Visited from Oct 5th to 10th. We had the resort to take care of both land and boat transfer. It was a breeze without too much waiting time, if you time your flights well. Took an hour to drive from Kota Bharu airport to Kuala Besut jetty, waited an hour there (spent walking around, eating and drinking at local mamak... More

My husband and I stayed at Tuna Bay for 5 nights over a week ago. The resort was lovely and the staff were reasonably nice. We stayed at a sea front bungalow. It was very nice to be able to see the sea from the room and only have to walk a few steps to the beach and sea. The... More
