We were picked up from Kota Bharu airport and transferred by minivan to the mainland office in Kuala Besut. The journey took approximately an hour. Our boat transfer was also arranged through the hotel and everything went without a hitch. Great service! They helped carry our baggage on to the boat. On arrival our bags were carried to reception and... More

Ours was 36 furthest from the beach n nearest to the jungle. Family Super Deluxe Seaview..very comfortable for families. 5A & 6A unit is the furthest and 1A is the... More

Magnificent view of the sea and the beach if you choose a house "with a view" (we had no. 2) –I recommended definitely that kind of accommodation. Very close to the restaurant - can be an advantage or a disadvantage (in September restaurant were closed at 10 p.m.). Spacious and simply furnished room with ac. Tasty and varied breakfast.

Tina Bay was awesome. Remote, peaceful, clean rooms right on the beach. Perfect waking up to the sea lapping just a few metres from your door. Food in the restaurant was great. If snorkelling/diving/chilling on the beach isn't for you then you may be a little bored here. However the sea lice were a problem for me. I was getting... More

My husband and I visited Malaysia this June. We spent about a week at the Tuna Bay Resort in the Perhenthian Islands. This part of our trip was truly the best! Our room was opened up to the beach front. The view was breath taking and the weather was superb. The staff was extremely friendly and super efficient. The sea... More

Spent a week here in late October just before the resort closed for the monsoon season. The weather was perfect; warm and sunny with calm seas. This is a perfect place for complete get away from it relaxation (or snorkelling and dive sites if you want to be more active). There a couple of other accommodation options along this stretch... We are a family of four with two boys 9 and 10 and we had a lovely time at Tuna Bay. Rooms were clean, service was friendly and good and most importantly the beach was perfect. I wanted to introduce the boys to snorkelling and we couldn't have asked for a better opportunity. A lively coral reef metres from the... More
