We enjoyed Tuna Bay, which has an ideal location right on the beach and is perfect for families. We had 2 interconnecting rooms in the garden, which were clean and comfortable. The beach is nice and it is fantastic with access to the corals and fish right from the beach. The restaurant had good food and the staff was friendly....

I like the Tuna Bay resort, though it was a bit expensive. We were used to very cheap backpackers hostels, so that explains...
The houses are nice, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom, safe inside, not much to complain about! The air-condition was very nice too. Our room didn't have any view, and we didn't spend any time on the porch...

We were here 1 week in august 2011. We had a sunny week, sea chalet bungalow, not luxe, but you don't need that on this beautifull place!
house reef is perfect to snorkel, taxi boats can bring you to turtle beach (perfect beach and snorkel) and sharks point is very nice and not dangerous.
The food in tuna bay is...

Chose the resort due to their good ratings, service was alright. But the wooden floorboards and thin partitions between the rooms make noises from kids, heavy footsteps etc easily heard. One of the better furnished resorts there but pricewise, a little costly for a place like perhentian. Would try out other resorts on my next visit. Food was acceptable, amenities -...

I think it was good, but could have been better, specially for what you pay for and for how things are in the rest of Malaysia.
We didn't get a very warm reception at our arrival and then through the following days it was clear that service wasn't their best. If the restaurant is busy, specially at night, it really...

Overall, we enjoyed Tuna Bay and had a relaxing time.
It is child-friendly and not a "party" resort (which we liked).
We had two garden-facing bungalows - the rooms were clean and comfortable and it was excellent to have air-conditioning. There is an in-room safe but no fridge. The beach is nice and it was good to snorkel close to...

No need to scuba-dive as the best snorkelling is on the doorstep right infront of the resort beach, as well as plenty snorkelling sites all around the island. Perfect for a romantic beach or family holiday. We stayed in the beach front chalet - clean and all good although you can only book in after 2pm. Good fresh food at...

My partner and I stayed at Tuna Bay for 6 nights in a beach front bungalow and it was the most amazing holiday we have had. As soon as you arrive the beach calls you to dive in and snorkel the amazing reef - even after reading all the warnings AND being Australian so very familiar with being sun smart...

Stayed at tuna for 5 nights. We got the back bungalow but loved the beach front ones better.
This is a real paradise. Rooms are large enough, quiet AC. Delicious breakfast and a really good restaurant. The staff are really friendly. Water taxis available all the time. There is a great scuba diving shop which I highly recommend. Plenty of...
