We've visited Coral View twice, and will probably be back at least once. It is in a beautiful location, the snorkeling is great fun, and the staff is friendly and competent. The beach itself is covered with coral and rocks, but the neighboring beach is soft coral sand and easily accessible via stairs. We split our time between the good... More

We decided to stay at the Coral View Island Resort based on other reviews and we were not disappointed. There are two very different beaches, one wide and hot in front of the family rooms and one with a breeze and more coral with excellent snorkeling almost as soon as you entered the water, in front of the Seaview Rooms... The hotel accommodation itself is absolutely fine - bang on par for price in the region. We stayed in one of the standard double chalets on the hillside. Most of these have a balcony with some sort of view. The chalets are simple, clean and reasonably well appointed (hair dryer, safe etc.). The air conditioning can be slightly noisy (it... More

We arrived at Coral view after spending 4 days on the little island so had an idea as to what to expect. It wasn't the busy time so we were shown a number of options, and we decided on an ocean view chalet. We had hot water and air conditioning but we were not told that the power is out... More

We stayed in a "garden view" room. We could hear the waves except when our air con was on . . . Or our neighbors air con. There are some rooms at the back is the resort that are a long walk full of stairs from the beach. The room we had was dark and dank smelling. You got used... More

Stayed 3 nights here in a standard fan room. Room was cleaned well daily. Toilet did not work properly and the room was quite small, dark and in need of a refurb. The beachfront rooms looked nice. There is a deck but was again dark with no sun. The resort is well maintained and is in a very good location.... More

We chose a family suite - sea view room. It had a large double bed and a single bed and we also had mattress on the floor for our second child. Bathroom basic - wet room shower and toilet - with slightly dodgy plumbing and a bit of a smell (if I am being really picky). Room 101. Good location,... More

Clean, spacious chalets. Beachfront chalets are so lovely, with an amazing view and lounge chairs. Hot showers, clean, large bedroom with fridge. Romantic setting. Ideal location. In front of the hotel is the snorkeling spot of the island. Turtles, sharks, coloured fish and coral, everything you want. Nearby is the perhentian island resort, with a perfect sand beach to relax... More

A week of the best snorkeling ever in our hotel's beachside swimming area. Every time walked in the water for a swim we saw something new and exciting...turtles, giant clams in many colors, so many beautiful fish, reef sharks, rays. Bliss! We loved our little bungalow with a front porch and water facet to wash off our gear and feet.... More
