Pulau Perhentian is a great escape from busy city. No car, no motorcycle & no road! Only boats! Stay in Cocohut from 4D 3N and I would say it is nice. Don't expect 5 or 4 stars of facilities. Service is great! Friendly staff in the hotel. They are friendly and helpful. The restaurant food is awesome! Good chef behind... More

Having spent three weeks in a perfect bungalow with a sea view we have already booked for a month next year. This is the perfect place for a quiet holiday. The bungalows are clean, quiet and comfortable, good size with big beds, AC, fan and TV. Breakfast is served overlooking the sea and at night there is always fish barbeque.... More

We stayed at coco chalet for around 3 days. The chalet was small to accommodate 5 people as we got an extra mattress for us apart from two queen size beds. The washroom was ok and clean. There was AC in the room and hot water supplier in the washroom. They have their own restaurant which is perfectly on the... More

We came from Abdul's chalets down the beach for one night as they were fully booked and it was definitely not the best night sleep we've ever had. We paid over £50 for a garden view room and it was not worth the money. There were ants all in the bathroom and we had to shower with shoes on!! You... More

We stayed at Cocohut in July last year as part of our honeymoon. We had nothing booked and arrived at the island, hoping to get accommodation. We were lucky that there was a chalet available. We stayed for 5 nights. We stayed in a few different chalets, as some were booked and we had to move. That was fine..sure we... More

Didn' stay here ( stayed at Tuna Bay - see review ) but ate here for dinner 4 times in 7 days . Advantage was that they had an outside uncovered deck looking over the water . The good feature was that you could reserve a particular table ( even if you weren't staying there ) Found that the food... More

Like swimming in an aquarium the perhentians are a natural gift to this world. We spent 4 nights at coconut, breakfast lunch and dinner included. Food was great, always to much. Accommodation was basic but clean. hot shower worked when it felt like it, but you really didn't need it at 36 degrees per day. Please leave the turtles alone... More

I stayed there for 2 nights in April 2012 on a working trip. During the day, most of the time I am outdoors working on coral monitoring at the nearby Marine Park jetty. The chalet is situated right on the beach, which is shady, quiet and safe. Families with small children need not worry about letting the children out to... More

After staying in Cocohut for 3N/4D with my family (2A2C).. What we like about Cocohut ; 1. The beach is just right in front of our chalet (sea view chalet) and the sea water is clean n clear. We don’t need to go far for snorkeling as the Marine Park is just a few minutes walking distance from the chalet.... More
