I arrived at Pulau Kapas knowing that KBC was one of the most recommended places on the island and despite the lack of ways to contact them (I was going without a booking), we falled in love with the place. They didn't have room for us for the first night, but except sleeping, I did all my life in the... More

After traveling for months in South East Asia we needed some time to relax. And if you want to relax this is the place. Pulau Kapas is a very tiny island with very basic accomodations. This place was perfect, we first intended to stay for three nights. We ended up staying for over a week. Kayen the owner is Malay,... More

KBC was, alas, full when we were on Kapas so I can't comment upon the accommodation but the restaurant was excellent. The overall look and feel of the place was proper, driftwood, beach bum, laid back tropical paradise. On top of that it was very kiddy friendly with cool staff (Wan was brilliant, thanks), the food was genuine, delicious, generously... More

their restaurant saved our stay on pulau kapas! as qimi chalet literally f**** up our booking we had to stay in a terrible place as the few good ones including kbc were fully booked! it was a terrible experience for us and only kbc's great atmosphere in the restaurant, tasty food and drinks could make up for it! the value... We made a reservation over the telephone for a 40MYR room, we arrived to find that it would not be honoured and we were put in an 80MYR room! The owner told us we would be moving the next day to a cheaper room, the next day came and I went over and said 'When do you want us to... More

The rooms are clean little wooden huts facing a pretty garden with view of the sea at a very reasonable rate. Contrary to other reviews, our room has a sink and a fan. There are deck chairs and lots of nice spaces to lounge. Good music all day from a good restaurant with alcohol and fresh food. The entire space... More

KBC is the ideal place to chill out, I stayed 5 nights in a dorm (a bungalow with 5 beds with mosquito nets and fan), you have everything you need for a real good price, they lend mask for snorkeling, very friendly staff, good restaurant, kayak to rent, hamacs, long chair, beach volley playground, library ... You just have to... More

We arrived in Kapas a little worse for wear after a few days on the Perhentians - Kapas and KBC was exactly what we needed. I think this is the most chilled out place I have been. We stayed in the basic 40RM fan room which were indeed basic but certainly value for money and clean. All the staff were... More

Came to Kapas after mental stay in Penhentians, and it was a welcome refuge to come to such a chilled island with such a relaxed vibe. We were lucky to get rooms at KBC as we'd not booked in advance, and it's clearly a popular spot especially for those on a budget. Room was basic but clean and most rooms... More

The great part about this resort is the atmosphere. The chalets are small, however they provide you with a decent amount of sleep. The area has been affected by the recent monsoon season, but you can still navigate around the islands paths. My overall stay here was good, and i would definitely recommend the omelets.
