By far the best place we stayed in. Contrary to the negative reviews we received extremely good service. Out of our two week honeymoon in Borneo this was the only lodge/hotel which made a big effort in making it special. All the staff knew we were newlyweds and congratulated us on it. We arrived to a room prechilled with aircon... More

As with any wildlife adventure, spotting the animals and colorful birds is luck of the draw. True, this area of river forest is quite narrow and surrounded by palm oil plantations. Honestly we are lucky it exists at all. We were very fortunate to see 5 varieties of horn bills, 2 different king fishers, lots of monkeys (including large groupings... More

On our trip to Borneo we just left Borneo Nature Logde today on our trip around the island, and we miss them already. We stayed for 2 nights and had some very good rivercruises. We highly recommend this place and the smilling and excellent staff.

We stayed here for a night as part of a 3 day trip. The lodge is just a 5 minute boat trip from the drop off point at the road. On arriving the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were great for the location. We've stayed in far more basic accommodation than this. The room was large and... More

We stayed for 2 nights as part of a 3 night 4 day tour which included selingen island and sepilok centre, which was organised by the same company that own the nature lodge. The lodge staff are very friendly and can't do enough to help, the rooms are very basic but was within our expectations for this type of trip,... More

The borneo nature lodge is a somewhat newer ecolodge in the Sukau rainforest on the Kinabatangan river. It can be reached by a two hour drive plus a five minute boatride from Sandakan - we had all of that arranged by Hotspot tours who did a good job. Included were two jungle cruises on the Kinabatangan river (for a one... More

We were so looking forward to our one night on the Kinabatangan on our way back from Tabin but were severely disappointed in our stay here. We are an easy going young couple that loves Nature. But there is something very wrong with the 1 night package that means you only get one boat trip in the afternoon of your... More

I found booking our activities in Sandakan a little confusing and was very glad I stumbled upon these guys – they organised everything for us and everything ran perfectly! The fantastic service started right after we got off the plane as we had arranged to tour turtle island (though the hotel) we has a little time to spare and our... More

This small lodge located in the jungle of Sabah is really nice. We stayed in Januari for three days and two nights. We did the jungle tour by boat three times which were very nice. We saw lots of beautiful birds and monkeys. Our guide (Kurt) took us on a walkabout through a small village nearby and told us a... More

This place far exceed our expectations. The rooms are great. Hot water, very clean and mosquito/bug proof. The food here was amazing! We happen to be the only people staying the night and they asked us what we would like to eat as there was no one else around and made us what we requested and it was delicious! The... More
