Exceeded all expectations. Food was excellent. Guide was fantastic, if you get a chance ask for Aljan as he really does know his stuff and has an incredible eye at spotting the smallest of animals from a distance. Cruzes were really good fun. We went for the 3 day two night deal (you leave at 8am on the third day... More

Booked through gogosabah in KK. excellent value, we seemed to get a better deal then others that booked through direct with Nature lodge/Nasalis larvatus. We booked the 3d 2n. Our guide was Rudi who was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, we saw pigmy elephants, wild orangutan, crocodiles loads of birds, proboscis monkeys and many other species. We did have to pay extra... We did the 3D2N package at this lodge. The dorm was basic (4 beds in each dorm) but set in beautiful surrounding rainforest. The food was excellent and so were the staff - very friendly, informative and the activities were all very well organised. Activities included river cruises, night walks and a nature trek. Warning: if you don't like getting... More

Our stay at Nature Lodge Kinabatangan (Nasalis) was booked by the operator of our previous jungle-survival at Kota Kinabalu, LOST. Since we did not know this place it was a bit of a gamble, but it turned out to be a fantastic place. The accomodation is basic (stayed in a dorm room), but this is greatly compensated by a fantastic... More

GENERAL I must say we really enjoyed this park and lodge. It is unfortunate for the animals that the park is such a small corrider of land on each side of the river, but it does make the wildlife more visible for us all. All of the lodges, including the KNL are very close to villages and civilization because of... More

Even tho we picked the wrong type of room, cabin with no aircon which makes it so hot, but we did have a marvelous moment! Just remember that you guys will be in the rainforest, dont forget to bring the mosquitos spray, raincoat and there will be no wifi. But they do sale the poncho there tho. The breakfast, lunch,... Thank you for your time to write the feed back Kathrina. Night walk can be fantastic some times as you can spot sleeping birds and even come face to face with python. Then again, being in a jungle, you need the luck factor. We are glad you did enjoy your overall stay and do help us pass the words around.... More

Stayed at nature lodge for 2 nights as part of a 4 day tour. We elected to upgrade to the Deluxe chalet for extra 50RM pp per night. Give how hot and humid it was we were very glad we did so. Chalet was rustic but more than adequate with Twin single beds, Basic tea / coffee making facilities and... More

Thank you for your feed back Lisa. The tropical rainforest is usually humid and even hot by European or Australian standards. However, having air conditioning will help getting over this "uncomfortable" aspect and we are glad you chose the up grade. Due to our activities being planned in a rather packed manner, the day is like clock work and exactly... More

Be aware that there are security concerns in this region that are not brought to your attention by this organization. Several governments recommend against travel to eastern Sabah. This company is well aware of the concerns and will explain to you why they believe their tours are safe, if asked. I was disappointed to have to cancel my visit here... More

Thank you for your feed back. It is rather unfair that you gave us a low rating based on the fact that your respective government gave a travel warning and you expect us to be aware of that and inform all our guest. We do welcome visitors from all over the world. We are part of a tourism association, KiTA... More

Stayed here for one night as part of a tour, on the river, basic but adequate accommodation, good food, woke up in the night by monkeys running on our roof! Amazing, just the jungle experience we were after. Even saw a firefly fluttering around as we were walking back from our river cruise.
