This place take a while to get to. 2,5 hours in car from the airport (pick up included) and then about 45 minutes with speedboat out into the sea. When you arrive it is breathe taking, the staff has an carful review over the facilities and activities. This place is perfect for divers and snorkelers, you can also access Sipadan... More

Travelled as part of our Honeymoon. Booking things was a bit tedious as there was a lot of paperwork to send back and forth. But once done was so glad! Transfer from Tawau Airport was seamless, clean Minibus and well maintained boat to the island. ONce on the Island, luggage was wisked away and was found later in our room.... More

What a wonderful resort. We were transferred to the bungalows from the beach resort by buggy, for our arranged 5 night stay. All our luggage was collected from the beach resort and taken into our room. We didn't have to lift a finger. We loved the Beach resort, but on arrival here, it was like arriving at the Ritz!!. The... More

We recently (May 2014) enjoyed a stay at Mabul Water Bungalows. The island is truly beautiful and the snorkling was amazing...BUT we wish to say that despite the beautiful scenery and location your holiday can be spoilt by other guests! A large group Chinese visitors occupied the resort while we were there leaving us and another couple from Hong Kong... More

The Mabul Water Bungalows is a picturesque and relaxing resort with wonderful diving. The local dive sites are based around the islands of Mabul, Kapalai and Sipadan, with permits required for the latter. Sipadan lived up to high expectations with plenty to see - I would recommend diving the cave of Turtle Cavern for those PADI Advanced divers who are... More

We stayed 5D4N in one of the Borneo Villas. The location, quality of the room and the diving was incredible, it was everything we expected given the costs. We asked early on about an extra Sipidan permit and were able to purchase an additional day there which we felt was well worth it. The divemasters were attentive overall and actively... More

This trip was the first major diving trip I'd done in over 10 years, and the first time I'd visited a dedicated diving resort with my wife who is a non-diver. The total experience was fabulous. We booked here because this was one of the few hotels we could find who would accept electronic online payment. Others wanted bank transfers... More

We (two divers) stayed here recently for 6 nights in April 2014. We booked (and paid in December 2013) through a diving agent "Dive The World" as it seems difficult to contact hotels in Sipidan directly. Despite having made full payment way in advance, a few days before our arrival at Tawau, I still have not heard back from our... More

The setting, suroundings, everything is beautiful in the resort. Very attentive diving staff (also when you are just snorkeling at the waters around the hotel). This is why we were very surprised about the welcoming of the manager and cleaness of the rooms. There were only a few guests in the hotel, but not a single time, the manager asked... More
