How long consider a reasonable time line for a company to reply an email? My email still no reply from Bagus Place since 5 days ago. There are a few choices in Tioman, as this is the top rated one by 260 plus people, a group of 7 of us would like to try a 3D2N during July public holiday.... More

Dear Crystaleng, Thank you for taking your time to write your review. Our Bagus Place Team has replied five times to your emails since 11 May, with two Team members thus two different email addresses looking into your queries. Great secluded location with snorkelling available straight off the peer. A little expensive but worth it for a one off treat. We stayed in the top lodge which would be recommended for all. Very friendly staff and scuba and snorkelling your available.

Arriving at Bagus feels like going back to your hometown where everyone is happy to welcome you and stop for a friendly chat. With only 9 chalets, it is cozy, intimate, you are free from group bookings that can very often ruin a quiet holiday. We welcomed the total absence of cell phone coverage, internet and television. It is indeed... More

Sometimes its difficult to explain why we fall for a hotel or resort, that is not the case with Bagus. First off the staff, the welcome crew are professional and fun and carry a great smile all day long. Always eager to help and share a laugh. Second the setting is stunning. I never got tired of staring at the... More

We stayed at Bagus Place for 2 nights in April and had a truly lovely time. The staff were friendly and so welcoming. They come and pick you up from the ferry terminal and know you by name. The location was beautiful, you arrive by boat have a great view of the rainforest, hills and where they meet the beach.... More

Upon reaching this resort i was greeted by Rosie, she was warm very welcoming gave out a welcome drink and gave a short briefing about the place, then showed me to my room which was the Rumah Laut. The room... honestly.. was pretty ordinary, nothing you'd go "wow" about. No toiletries in the bathroom and had some problems with monkeys... More

We spent 3 days in Bagus place. I have to start with the location: Bagus Place is placed in an amazing spot, at the foot of the twin peaks, between the narrow beach and the jungle. The place is absolutely stunning and beautiful. The staff is very friendly, they will pick you up at the ferry jetty, and will bring... More

Bagus Place Retreat is a unique experience that went well beyond our imagination and exceeded all our expectations. The road trip from Singapore is long, and the ferry ride from Mersing unpleasant, but once you get here you'll be in paradise where Azie and her team caters to your every need. There were more staff than guests at the resort... More

I was initially a bit hesitant to write this review, as I don't want to share this "secret" but this resort is just too wonderful to keep from others. From the inital greating at the Ferry, until the return trop back, the staff provided a level of service beyond anything a 5-star luxury resort has to offer. They spent time... More

One of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The island is beautiful and the hotel itself is lovely. The evening buffet is always very good. We stayed for a week and it wasn't repetitive and was always excellent. The staff are lovely and always made us feel very welcome. I can't recommend Bagus Place enough, its an amazing place
