It was a 3 day, 2 night family holiday for us. I booked via the website and paid using PayPal. The arrangement for boat pickup from Genting jetty was made via email. The resort itself is serene and beautiful. There are a total of 9 units, so a sense of privacy was definitely felt. Totally secluded, and far away from... More

Bagus place is not a luxury resort, but it is utter paradise. We visited here in March 2012 and stayed in Flying Fox. From the moment we arrived via boat to the end of the jetty, we were taken aback by the sheer beauty of our surroundings; the crystal clear water filled with colourful parrot fish, turtles and reef sharks,... My wife and I stayed here for a week in 2012 and utterly loved every moment. The food, the views, the staff, the rooms; it was all perfect. You really are made to feel like you are living in paradise but it isn't over the top like some larger resort. Very peaceful with less than 8 huts. I hope one... More

My mum and I stayed at Rumah Laut on 14 Aug to 16 Aug 2014 for 3D2N. Rumah Laut has its own private patio that allows you to have 270 degree sea view. The room is spacious, the bedroom is separated from the living room, bathroom & kitchen. The room has basic amenities, like fridge (complimentary soft drinks), sofa, hot... More

We came to bagus having stayed at nearby japamala for 6 nights so were perhaps a little underprepared for the more 'Eco' approach of Bagus. The staff are just delightful and so happy all the time! They are forever making sure you are happy and enjoying yourselves. The resort is very much a family place, great atmosphere, beach volleyball competitions... More

Spent a few lovely nights at this slice of heaven. If you want a TRUE outdoors experience, this is the place for you. Fabulous views that are perfect for a photographer and just candy for the eyes. Not only that, Bagus Place is secluded so you have the utmost of privacy. Could not imagine a better place for an island... More

Our eight days in Bagus were truly amazing. We enjoyed the beautiful nature, the great snorkelling, the jungle and monkeys. We were so well cared for by the wonderful people at Bagus. Food was very good, room clean and with everything you need. We enjoyed so much going to coral island and Ringit - as well as the nights in... More

I spent a weekend at Bagus Place with a friend as a short getaway from the rush and unrest from work. I loved it! Service and hospitality:- Amazing! Our first taste of Bagus Place's amazing hospitality came from Vi Vien and Boy, staff members who picked us up from the airport to catch a 20min boat ride to the resort.... More

The fabulous: Views from the pier, honor-system bar, friendly staff, atmosphere on the pier area. The not-so-fabulous: Food (not much in the way of choices, and really not great, only available at certain times), Rooms (no screens, so you have to close up the non-air conditioned rooms and hope the fan keeps you from laying awake sweating ... NOT romantic!),... More

I cant find the words say just how amazing Bagus Place is!!! We stayed there for a week, after jungle trekking for 3 weeks and this place felt like a little slice of heaven. It was everything and more that you could expect from a romantic island, we had the warmest welcome when we arrived. We got the ferry from... More
