After traveling around S.E. Asia for 3.5 weeks I ended my travels at this resort and it was perfect. I stayed in the Boat House Chalet for 3 days (too short) and I enjoyed it very much. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I was traveling alone but they made me feel comfortable for the most part. As others... More

Oh Boy...Where to begin?! From the moment the speed boat picks you up and takes you to Bagus, you know you are in for something special. Turquoise water, jungle clad peaks, and smiling faces...and that was just on the speed boat. Upon arriving at that perfect jetty, the relaxation begins. After a welcome cocktail and briefing from the lovely Rosie,... More

The Trip advisor reviews and the reports of not a lot to do was the deciding factors for booking our 3 nights....it did'nt disappoint. My gf and I were picked up by speedboat at the Genting ferry terminal for the 10 minute pleasurable dash to the Bagus place jetty, please note there are NO roads leading to this place!! We... More

We had our weekend booked for Rawa but the resort cancelled on us a week before as they erroneously double-booked the same room. We did not want to waste the long weekend and coach to Mersing, so we decided to take a trip to Tioman instead. And we are so glad that it happened! The coach from Singapore to Mersing... More

As they say when you arrive, Bagus place is Paradise. We had three days in complete peace, surrounded by a beautiful beach, nice, transparent and warm water. Good food, amazing room. Everything was perfect, as we read in all the reviews in Trip advisor. We would recommend it to everyone!

It was a 3 day, 2 night family holiday for us. I booked via the website and paid using PayPal. The arrangement for boat pickup from Genting jetty was made via email. The resort itself is serene and beautiful. There are a total of 9 units, so a sense of privacy was definitely felt. Totally secluded, and far away from... More

Bagus place is not a luxury resort, but it is utter paradise. We visited here in March 2012 and stayed in Flying Fox. From the moment we arrived via boat to the end of the jetty, we were taken aback by the sheer beauty of our surroundings; the crystal clear water filled with colourful parrot fish, turtles and reef sharks,... My wife and I stayed here for a week in 2012 and utterly loved every moment. The food, the views, the staff, the rooms; it was all perfect. You really are made to feel like you are living in paradise but it isn't over the top like some larger resort. Very peaceful with less than 8 huts. I hope one... More

My mum and I stayed at Rumah Laut on 14 Aug to 16 Aug 2014 for 3D2N. Rumah Laut has its own private patio that allows you to have 270 degree sea view. The room is spacious, the bedroom is separated from the living room, bathroom & kitchen. The room has basic amenities, like fridge (complimentary soft drinks), sofa, hot... More

We came to bagus having stayed at nearby japamala for 6 nights so were perhaps a little underprepared for the more 'Eco' approach of Bagus. The staff are just delightful and so happy all the time! They are forever making sure you are happy and enjoying yourselves. The resort is very much a family place, great atmosphere, beach volleyball competitions... More
