We stayed two nights in a garden chalet at Mutiara. Scared of the holes on the roof and the floor we sprayed our room with insect spray each night and didn't have any problems with bugs :D the rooms were really modest but okay clean. Although we had to change rooms at first since there was brown water coming out... More

We stayed 2 nights at the Juara Mutiara. The communication with the staff about booking, transport, laundry etc was very easy and helpful. The place is a little worn down and I think we had the most basic room - could have used an AC - but don't know if it is available at all- all of Juara is very... More

Juara Mutiara is not as accessible as the more popular resorts like Salang or Paya, but it is really worth checking out. Diving spots are pristine and you don't get the crowds like in the other resorts. Highly recommended!

We booked in to stay here for three nights but after the first night we had to leave because the rooms were so filthy and cockroaches were all over the room, including in the beds. The owner seemed completely unbothered and didn't help. Obviously in a garden jungle area where the huts are located there are bound to be some... More

This was my second visit to Juara Mutiara after a hiatus of 13 years. The sand on the beach has lost a little of its fineness because of development but the whole resort is still a place for people who value peace and tranquility. The owner, Pakcik Sani and his family run this charming little resort. Of course, there are... More

Nice, quiet, peaceful beach. Small but clean cottages, not too expensive either. If you want to get away from hectic life and relax for a few days without doing anything special, this place is for you. At least if it is not the busiest tourist season...

We stayed at Mutiara for 4 nights, the chalets are along the beach. Our room was very old, and not clean. Starting at 7:00, the place was incredibly noisy due to motorbikes, so we could not sleep well. The price was cheap, but we did not enjoy our room. The owners are helpful.

This little jem is a few wooden chalets, a cafe, mini market, souvenir shop. Family run, right on Juara beach. They'll arrange snorkel trips and transfers from Tekek at extra cost. There are many restaurants nearby. Not all sell alcohol. To the south is Mantawak beach. There's a 3 hour jungle walk to a water fall on the way is... More

I was in Juara some 20 years ago when there was almost no one there but I remembered the beautiful white sandy beach and the emerald green crystal clear water. So this time I decided to visit Juara with my families and I was not sorry. To get there we first need to get to Tekek village in Tioman from... More

Normally, rooms include 2 queen beds, indoor bathroom with hot water and air con. Meals are not provided but there are some cafe around... More
