Pulau Tioman is a great budget island getaway , with its crystal clear waters and beautiful corals. In Salang , a wide variety of corals are available just a few meters once you enter its waters ... Salang jetty is the furthest from Mersing jetty but the trip is worthwhile when you head to Tulai Island and White Sand beach... More

Staff were fairly rude and did not speak English well. The room was run down with cracks in the wall and door frame. There was no shower head and sink. Toilet struggled to flush. However the bed was reasonable but we were given no blankets If you choose to stay here make sure you get a room with air con!!!!!

I cannot recommend staying there! If you want to have an enjoyable time, then stay somewhere else. I got a "standard fan room" (6x nights for MYR420 ~ 20EUR p. night) that was really run down! It had a "bathroom" - let's call a it a toilet and an improvised shower WITHOUT a sink. The hut was basically open to... More

They have a lot of diferent tipe of rooms, with AC and fan. They don't have wifi (well they have, but don't give the password to the costumers). Basic, it's well localized and overpriced. Some of the staff is friendly but the majority is rude and liar. We stayed 3 nights and they didn't clean our room any of the... More

Room was clean when we got there but after a tiring dive came back to a room with no water. Asked help at the counter But was given several room keys and said...'no water you go try these rooms seriously? After going to the rooms given, they had little water flow and no electricity. It was 8pm. Had to resort... More

Triple sharing sea view ensuite room . Very basic wooden chalet. Room has air cond & hot shower but depend on your luck. Cleanliness is on the lacking side. Beds are comfy but bed sheets did not look clean. Toilet is old , cracked here and there and need a major make over.

Stayed with Salang Indah for total of 3 nights, the first night we stayed in a quad aircon room (as we were a walk-in and hadn't booked) for total of 240RM which was expensive, but the room had great facilities and was exactly what we needed as we'd been travelling overnight and needed a good clean and good sleep! The... More

Was in Tioman on a short working trip recently and decided to stay at Salang Indah resort. I have been to Salang many times in the past on working trips, but this is the first time staying here. The Salang Indah is about a 10 minutes stroll on the left side of the jetty. It has many types of rooms... More

We arrived at another horrible resort, and promptly checked out. After viewing the rooms here, decided to stay at this place. It was alright for the price paid for 3nights, which worked out to RM120 per night for AC and ensuite. But the chalet had seen better days, and no one I believe, has cleaned it much. Its alright for... More

We were lucky to get a chalet here after moving from Salang Beach Resort which was dirty, dusty & have no hot water. The chalet we got at Salang Indah was basic & clean and the location is very central to where all the activities are, you can find good food, convenient shop and diving hub here.
