Tioman Island is BEAUTIFUL and we decided to stay at the Paya township as it quieter and less crowded. Tioman Paya Resort was OKAY. It feels very rustic-kampung style with the wooden house by the jungle. The management were very nice people in helping us get boats, supplies, water and WIFI. We were not too sure why we could not... More

The good thing about this hotel is definitely its house reef. You dun have to go far. And if you are lucky, you can spot sea turtle too. It's a big place with different types of room to suite different budget. Notice improvement on the buffet bar, the food is covered! Some lacks of service: 1) Welcome drink though prepared... More

Ever wonder how to get to the beautiful island of tioman? Here's how it goes..i took the bus from dfs galleria in orchard at 0630hrs. Travelling time is about 3.5-4hours straight. I landed at tanjung gemok ferry terminal where you have to take a ferry approximately 1.5-2hours(54km) to tioman island.(although there is also bus that goes to mersing ferry terminal... More

The resort facility is average. It's near to the beach and the view is beautiful. Don't expect the luxury stay here. I feel it's for the budget travelers and value for money. No restaurant available in the resort you have to go near by restaurant only.

The location is the best thing about this resort. You can forget about emails, telephone and so on. Life in Tioman is the beautiful sea, good food and a few drinks. But the resort is very low level. The swimming pool is ridiculous. The dinner or lunch prepaid is hardly enough, but the topup for extra food you need is... More

Deep in the hearts of us city folks, we know, at least most of us know, that we don't really mean it when we say that we want to stay in a rustic plc, devoid of all our city comforts. This is exactly what this plc is about, a plc zapped of city comforts and opportunistic consumerism. The funishings of... More

Quite a walking distance from the beach front but if u're looking for a budget stay, this resort is the only choice at Kampung Paya. A small trek into forest you will find rockfall where you can soak your feet in spring water. Hosts are friendly, breakfast served is mediocre. Snorkelling package offered by resort is not to expectation. Instead... More

Been staying at this resort for all my trips to Tioman since 1994. The location is quiet and peaceful, chalets are extremely spaced out which is a plus point same goes for the friendliness of the staffs. The rooms are starting to look worn out over the years and the owners must seriously consider if they want to start rejuvenation... More

This place has so much potential. I wish I could give a better rating, but there is just too much that is run down about this little resort. The mattress was clean, but the bathroom taps were mouldy and insect ridden. Quite a few mosquitoes, but we were warned by earlier reviews and bought repellant. Spent most of the time... More

When we just reach the place, we were lead to walk into jungle, along the way some of the hotel looks nice.. If you are looking for a place to eat during free time, do not eat at "santai beach burger". They are very rude and fierce. They mixed up other customers' burger with ours, of course we would not...
