Originally we wanted to stay at Paya Beach which is right at the beach front, but it was fully booked, and the travel agent recommended Paya Resort. nice view from cottages, beach could have been cleaner, the adjoining genting beach is a better choice...this property is very pooular with chinese friends...must visit in rains as they have nice waterfall behind hotel more

We've had few trips around and after spending some time in Sentosa (supposed to be a resort) my friends wants to go for some real beach and wants to have fun snorkeling and scuba. We made a last minute decision to go for a short getaway to Tioman and since most of the other resorts were fully booked, we end up taking this resort. When we reached the place, we were taken aback when we were usher from the beachside along this "kampung" like pathway that crosses the mangrove area to the resort. However... more
