Being a rather old hotel that has seen several changes in management company over the past decades, Shahzan Inn has trully stood the test of time. While still structurally sound, it is the small details that has been left unattended to. Take the room for example, the fittings and furnishings has yet to receive any updates and now belongs no... An old established facility built in 1974 in an excellent location in the centre of town overlooking the 9 hole golf course. We were told that on public holidays weekends and school holidays the hotel tends to get very busy but we chose to stay mid week off peak and because of the absence of many guests the hotel staff... last time i visited fraser's hill was about 25 years ago! there is no more GAP resthouse now and no more traffic restrictions on the road up the hill.there is now 1 road for ascending and another for descending.from KL,it took us about 2+ hours to reach Shahzan's Inn. first thing that strikes us when we reach Fraser's Hill? Comfortable hotel with nice quiet rooms. Currently being refurbished as it's mid-Ramadan, hence reduced customers. Good western food as well as local food. restaurant has Halal and non-Halal sections to cater for religious preferences.

For people who are drawn to a tranquil and cool environment, nature, walks, jungle trekking, birds, early nights and early nights, Fraser's Hill would be a destination. The best hotel in the context of Fraser's Hill is Shahzan Inn with others providing rooms which are small, high cost, without elevator access or in dire need of refurbishment. Shahzan's rooms are... Out of the 10 hotels we have stayed in in Malaysia this time, this is our least favourite. The location is good, right in the middle of Fraser's Hill, there is free parking, the staff are helpful and friendly. We had two rooms next to each other on floor 3. Both were run down and shabby, no hot water in... More

This hotel is quite economical, not so high not so low. It is average. Even the structure quite decrepit but their lobby very interesting, many information you can have here, such as bird species in Fraser Hill, the history of Fraser Hill and etc. The location is very positive little bit up to hill and you can have a great... We took this place because we were let down by another establishment. Centrally placed to activities Pricey but they can afford to be in this tourist area. Rooms were adequate and clean with great views over the golf course valley to the opposite hills. Fascinating how the mist can lift in seconds. Breakfast was included and buffet but cold as... More

When we were to check in the hotel at 2pm which the check-in time is 2pm as stated in the hotel booking website, surprisingly we were told by the receptionist that we can only check in after 3pm. This was the first bad perception of me about it. The location of the hotel is quite strategic, appropriate facilities provided i.e.... More

This Hotel is value for money for the suitably size rooms with a breakfast spread that was sufficient and of acceptable taste. Only the Coffee,Tea and fruit drinks were quite watery and tasteless. There is free wifi access at the hotel lobby.
