This was the Most Perfect stop to our trip in Madagascar. . We stayed for 5 nights and every morning we woke up and still could not believe such a place existed. The luxury bungalows are the only way to enjoy this trip.. we stayed at a bungalow called Pouse Pouse and enjoyed each every day.. I personally think that... More

Our bungalow was right on the ocean with a large porch where you could relax outside and enjoy the sound of the ocean. The pool was great to do laps and sit and have lunch. We did the sunset cruise on their wooden boat with drinks, it was great!!! Food was good, service and the people were all so friendly!!... More

Welcome to a Very relaxing, peaceful, adventurous honeymoon after a busy wedding. We had a friendly welcome and were taken to our room and then on a short tour of the facilities. The Honeymoon suite was spacious with a bed overlooking the sea... it had a twin shower and a sunken bath. We read next to the beach, had a... More

We stayed here for a week during our honeymoon for a bit of relaxation before touring some of the national parks. It's the perfect place to flop and is in a really beautiful spot - our lodge (Charette) looked out over the Indian Ocean, which was stunning when the sun was setting in the evening. Our lodge was big and... More

We stayed elsewhere on the island but decided to visit Princesse Bora for a day spa. It was very reasonably priced (circa 40GBP for 3 hours, including massage, scrub and soak), and the staff were exceptional. They were professional throughout and all the services offered were of a very high standard. The soak baths, in a pirogue with their own... More

Thank you for your review about the Jungle Spa. It is good to remind that it is open to guest from outside the lodge and that it is certainly the best spa in Madagascar. We are glad you appreciate it. More

It’s a beautiful hotel and was the perfect place to spend our honeymoon. The accommodation was faultless and was the probably the best we’ve stayed in. It was spotlessly clean and our room was great, complete with huge walk-in shower, sunken bath and massive bed. It was set right on the beach so we fell asleep to the sound of... More

Dear guest, thank you for this warm comment on trip advisor. You take time to describe very well all the things to do on Sainte Marie Island and I think this will be very helpful for futur travelers. As you say, we are not isolated from the malagasy life and our employees are all coming from the villages around. It... More

The Island of Ste Marie is a very idyllic location and offers a good place of rest after an intensive road trip through Madagascar. Princess Bora offers the best and most luxuruous place to stay on this island. We even saw whales passing by in front of the hotel!!

This is probably one of the best places that we've stayed in and in one of the best locations. For a start the island is gorgeous and the location of the lodge is great - sitting eating breakfast watching whales play in the sea no more than 200m away was magical. The staff are friendly, attentive and helpful; the layout... More

Thank you so much for this nice review. In Sainte Marie Island, we are very lucky with a huge variety of local food like tropical fruits, vegetables and fishes of course.
