We didn't stay here but spent an afternoon at the lodge in the company of the owner. We got a tour of the accommodation and facilities and enjoyed wonderful stories about the island and it's inhabitants. The lodge is exquisite. All wood and every pillar and many lintels and other details are hand carved by a local artist. The beach... More

My wife and I went to Analatsara for lunch on our day trip to Ile aux Nattes from Ile Saint Marie. Jean-Pierre really made us feel welcome by having us eat lunch with him and two of his guests. He is very friendly and speaks pretty good English. Lunch was an incredible treat - 4 courses with wine and apéritif.... More

A fantastic place to stay especially for a large group as this would bring down the price considerably. Communal dinners with a beautiful European islander feel. Hot showers although unfortunately this wasn't our experience. Would recommend to anyone wanting a fairly pricey but absolutely beautiful experience.

It is a home away from home. We immediately felt so welcomed and throughout the whole stay Philippe made our experience unique, and incredibly special. The 'tree house' bungalow was... More

A wonderful place with a warm welcoming staff. Everything is taken care off. Very nice 'rooms' / 'bungalows' in which every detail is tasteful and chosen with love. The hosts Jean Pierre (le Baron) & Philippe make you feel comfortable and highly appreciated. What Nadia is doing in the 'cuisine' is pure art. This all results in a 'table d'hote'... More

While we did not stay here we enjoyed eating and relaxing here by day and night. The boat trip to see the whales was excellent and Jean Pierre was an outstanding host. He made our first few days in Madagascar unforgettable.
