We took a day trip to Boraha village but were sorry we weren't overnighting. The lunch was incredible- they have a crab speciality dish well worth trying. The owner Arno is very friendly and made us feel welcome from the start. He is also very knowledgeable about the history of the pirates on the island and has a small museum... More

We came here after travelling around Madagascar for a couple of weeks, Getting to Sainte-Marie was rough, but once we were at the hotel it was worth it all. The hotel is beautiful, with a great view on the ocean, and all the bungalows are cosy and comfortable, The service is also great, as the people who work there come... More

We were traveling around Madagascar as part of a two month trip around South Eastern countries of Africa when we decided to visit Nose Boraha for a little romantic getaway. We were hoping for tranquility and good quality of leisure. Little did we know but this was by far the best accommodation on our whole trip in Africa. The communication... More

We are currently living in Tana, Madagascar and decided to visit Sainte Marie for a few days. We didnt want to spend a massive amount of money so were looking for something reasonably priced but still with good quality. We found this little gem - Boraha Village - situated on the east coast of the island. I emailed the resort... More

Our family visited Madagascar in June.We never planned to stay here but my sister and i got food poisoning from Atafana Lodge, so we stayed at Boraha Village. As soon as we got there everyone put in so much effort to make us feel welcome and Arnaud, the owner went out of his way to help us with medication and... More

We made a stop to this place on our way to Ampanihy Bay. Unfortunately I had to bail out of the excursion because of a nasty heat stroke and decided to rest it out in this hotel. We were given such a warm welcome by the owner of a property, who was very attentive and mAde arrangement for my refreshments... More

Really nice, warm and personable place to stay on east coast of Sainte-Marie. Great food. Relaxing, laid back. Owner makes sure you get anything you need. Private but located in the midst of villages allow you to glimpse real like on the tropical side of the country.

This is a true treasure in the Indian Ocean. One of the few hotels on the east coast of Sainte Marie. What is the advantage of the east coast? Well, the sea breeze for example...is like natural air conditioning and it keeps the horrible little sand flies or flees away. Simple but comfortable bungalows with mosquito nets, hot water and... This is a very nice spot on IlIle Sainte-Marie. The terrace in the water is amazing and so is the food. It is little more expensive place for Madagascar concepts, but good value for money.

Dare to dream to see this somewhere else. Beautiful views, decent service, and normal prices. My best escape in the last few years.
