This hotel has had its day - the rooms are shabby, with dreadful foam chip pillows out of the 70s and the most treacherous shower set up I've ever seen. Being the only hotel guests was scary enough, to add to the misery of the room, the electricity went off in the dead of the night with no emergency power not to mention a flashlight or candles. We had to stay like zombies in our beds until dawn when the power returned only to go off again a few hours... More

This older hotel is quite charming and the owner has loads of information and ideas regarding how to best explore the Qadisha Valley. I stayed here for one night with my mother when visiting the beautiful Qadisha Valley. We stayed here in the off-season, and found it pretty pricey for what you get. The hotel is a bit worn, far from luxury, but clean and the staff was pleasant. The very attentive gentleman - must be the head of the family who own and run this hotel! - asked us what would we expect to see in Bcharre when we had already settled in. This well located hotel was perfect for a quiet weekend. The room was simple but clean with a nice restaurant nearby for dinner and drinks. The view is great and the traditional Lebanese breakfast was excellent. The perfect location to sightsee Becharre, the Qadisha Valley and the Cedars.
