We took a three day safari to Tsavo West and Amboseli which I had arranged in advance over the internet with W T Safaris. The service was exceptional and they could not have done any more for us. Communication in advance with Peter in the Diani Beach office was first class. Peter then came to see us the day after... more

We stayed here on our last night of our safari trip. As it was our honeymoon the lodge upgraded us to the "suit". It was the house right at the top of the hills above all the rest of them. However, the walk to it was a further 10 long steep minutes ha ha! We had our own hot tub,... more

We were very open-minded about going on safari and because there is a great deal of choice, we opted for 2 nights and were price concious. The Ngulia lodge is very 1970's and needs updating. The decor, bedding, rooms and food were all very average, 2-3 star quality. However, the location and surrounding wildlife make up for its shortcomings, as... more

Stayed here the second night of four day safari and didn't want to leave! Amazing place, fantastic scenery. Rooms lovely, food great, staff wonderful, cocktails to die for! Nothing too much for staff, even called us in middle of the night to see the cheetah! Fantastic location, just sorry to be there in middle of the drought. I would definately... more

We stayed at the Ngulia on the second night of a 3 day Tsavo East /West Safari with Glorious Safaris. Having stayed in a beautiful lodge the previous night we were horrified on arrival at the Ngulia, it resembles a block of rundown flats and to call the rooms basic would be generous. However, we had to keep reminding ourselves,... more

As i have said before i have been lucky enough to stay in some of the best hotels in the World so my expectations are high for that reason. The views over the plains are amazing and worth staying just for the sunset and sunrise. Waterhole is a nice touch and we saw elephants, hippo, zebra and buffalo. Rooms are... more

We stayed in the camp rather than the lodge and I have to say that the camp is amazing! We had a view out over Tsavo West that included 2 watering holes where a hippo was in residence and giraffe and buffalo roamed past. The food was delicious and after our evening meal one of the guys who worked there... more

We stayed here for one night as part of a three day safari in Tsavo East and West. The wildlife and the views and the location is incredible nothing short of, so we would recommend you come here. On the down side the rooms and the bathrooms are absolutely awful, stained, ramshackle and generally run down it needs huge investment.... more

After leaving Tsavo East our journey continued to Tsavo West once again seeing many Animals along the way. We arrived at Ngulia Safari Lodge at Lunchtime. The Lodge was set in on a Hill and over looks the famous Rhino Reserve which is the largest in the world. The views were wonderful. We checked into our Room which was pretty... more
