An amazing location and lodge on the tsavo plain!! What an experience to be awoken by a gathering herd of elephants and other game animals at the watering hole next to the lodge , the staff are wonderful, the location amazing and the bar looks down on the water lodge! In my experience the best bar in the world drinking... More

We took our grandson away with us to stay at the salt lick game lodge. My wife and I have been on safari before. So too us at first it just seemed like another game lodge. However we soon found out that this little known game park and the salt lick were far from ordinary. The salt lick lodge is... More

Very, very special, and very special design in wildlife. Staff was very gracious and friendly. Sipping coffee under the premises of the members of the elephant family how to protect their babies even if they follow all your tiredness price ...

for the upmost time we went back to this "nested lodge" in the wilderness. This time we were not so lucky in seeing big game since the whole park was fully blossoming with deep green vegetation. We anyway enjoyed looking for the hidden animals and miss most of them from zebra, giraffe, lion, cheetah . etc, we got to see... More

Stayed here for one night. Really wished we had booked for longer as it really is a fantastic place to stay. So much wildlife right outside your window. You will never get closer to wild elephants. The food here is also fantastic. The rooms are nice but you really wont spend that much time there. Loved sitting on the terrace... More

We stayed at the lodge for 1 night on 8th March. The water holes for the animals are the best part of the lodge !! I was pleased it had the water holes as we did not see many animals on safari. The lodge is beautiful except for the bedroom which had dirty bedding. The second room was not much... More

This place is a must stay if you want to be in the thick of the action on safari. The unique lodges look over the truly breathtaking African landscape littered with beasts of all kind. When the sun drops and the elephants come to the water you are 5 feet away! unbelievable! The rooms themselves are comfortable and clean and... More

The fact you can watch Elephants and other animals walk about and drink while you're eating your beautifully cooked dinner is amazing in it's self! Great Hotel! Was a little disappointed with the lack of animals in the game drives compared to other parks (such as Tsavo) but glad we got to experience it.

We visited this lodge as part of a Safari trip on 1st March 2014. When we booked the holiday including the safari we didn't realise we would be staying at this lodge and we certainaly wasn't disappointed. The location was out of this world with our room overlooking the waterhole. On arrival there was some Elephants right out the front... More

I totally agree with most other reviewers: the location is stunning. We visited at the end of February when it had been raining, so no animals came to the waterhole right outside our room window, but it was still magical to stay here. I loved the round room and the walkways suspended in air are so much fun to walk.... More
