This is a truly unique hotel, built on stilts in the middle of Tsavo Game Reserve. Rooms are unusual in shape, small and round with amazing views across the park. Rooms have double beds or twins. Bathrooms are simler size to the bedroom and have showers (no bath) and because of where the hotel is their is little water pressure.... more

This is a lovely lodge in a lovely location we first visited approx 1o years ago when it was owned by Hilton Hotels, we returned for 1 night last week and it was a complete nightmare, both water holes were dry with the elephants fighting over a small amount of water coming from a pipe not bigger than a hose... more

I had been to Tosovo in the last week of April for a offsite and spend 1 night at the salt lick lodge. It is a very unique and maybe the only one of its kind .It feels great to see Elephants drinking water just below the lodge. The food was excellent and so was the whole ambience more

Highly recommended....it is set in the middle of the african plains; it is a breath taking experience.....well worth the extra money and miles. One of the most amazing experiences of my life was waking up to the niose of elephants roaring outside our bedroom window.....absolutely fantastic! Definitely recommend this lodge! more
