Absolutely fantastic. The views are amazing, the rooms are amazing & although cold at night, they were very cosy. The staff left us a hot water bottle in the bed whilst we were at dinner which was a lovely touch. This has to be the most unique & truely fantastic place we've stayed. Highly recommend it!

We stayed at Lion's Bluff for 3 nights and it really is something superb. Having both been on safari before we can say it was without a doubt the best one we've ever done. As well as the amazing game, the staff are incredibly helpful, indiscriminately friendly and a lot of fun. The food as well, was some of the... More

We love Lions Bluff. It's beautiful. It's fun. It's secluded. The tents are on stilts. The staff are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The game and birds are breath taking. It's bijou and very very special. The conservancy fees are more reasonable than national park fees.

... really peaceful lodge (no crowds) ... exceptional staff ... good filling food ... although the visit was during a relatively dry period I was surprised at the number of elephants in and around the Lumo Conservancy

Patrick Glad that you like the peace of the Bluff. We are in an Elephant migratory corridor. As human population squeezes these corridors we get more and more elephant at strange times. No idea how the other animals will survive the change in vegetation........ but meanwhile our guests experience incredible Elephant sightings. More

Well beyond all our expectations. We stayed three nights with our whole family - three generations and could not have asked for more. Nothing was too much trouble for the very friendly staff, who were so flexible and happy to tailor game drives, bar b q's bush breakfasts to suit us. Excellent food and all in a setting that most... We camped at their beautiful campsite then had most of our meals at the lodge. The views are breath taking and near 360 degree. Food is good, staff are very helpful, the owners are charming and the whole package is great value.

Always great to host adventurous travelers. Not enough folk use the small cheetah campsite, those that do are welcome to us the lodge facilities including activities in the game sanctuary. Hope your travels went well and that we will see you back one day. More

My partner and I spent two nights at Lions Bluff just before Christmas. What an amazing place ! The term 'view with a lodge' fits perfectly. The views across the game park are mind blowing. We stayed in No.1 Banda which is directly above the waterhole. From our room, we saw elephant, giraffe and even lion. The accomodation is very... More

Tony, thank you for your lovely review. Being in a sanctuary rather than a National Park gives us considerable freedom to carry out fun activities such as bush walks and breakfasts. We hope to host you at the Bluff again and you are so right to point out the vast variety of birds as well as the animals. More

The staff is very friendly, the food is good and there are some very interesting activities to do in the area. Lion's Bluff is also highly recommended for honeymoons and... More

Thank you to all at Lion's Bluff for making our 3 night stay so spectacular! 16 people aged 5-70 is quite a party for any hotel to accommodate but you did it perfectly. The safari drives were spectacular with well informed drivers and rangers determined to find the best animals for us. The bush breakfast was like something from a... More
