My boyfriend and I visited Lions Bluff in the beginning of October, we were picked up by a member of staff at 7am sharp and driven to the lodges (a five hour drive) the roads were very bumpy but the driver was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed and purchased water incase we needed it. On... More

Super view from the top of a hill. Super sunsets. Only the lack of management and the food lets it down. Could be so much better if these two things would improve. Also in the evening and night wear warm clothes. Very friendly staff.

From the moment we arrived at Lions Bluff we felt like a member of the family, welcomed first by the baboons shortly followed by Naomi with a beverage and hot towel. We were late arriving to the lodge but lunch was still hot and ready for us. Each morning breakfast was prepared a view that was to die for, one... More

After a long drive through from Amboseli via the Tsavo West National Park, we arrived at the sanctuary and drove up the bluff to the Lodge. We were greeted by a stunning view overlooking the Serengeti Plains and the Lumo Sanctuary - cold towels were offered and gladly accepted, we were covered in lava dust from the drive through Tsavo,... We visited Lion's Bluff as part of an 8 day safari trip for our honeymoon early September '14. It was by far the best location, room and view on offer from 6 different safari lodges we visited. And we stayed at more expensive places in the Masai Mara. My wife wanted luxury, but I want rustic character rather than posh... More

About 30 of us descended upon the lions bluff lodge in August this year as part of extended wedding celebrations. This is definitely an amazing thing to do as part of a big group. My partner and I then went on and did safaris at the Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru but for an all round experience, Lions Bluff was... More

A first class location, lodge, accommodation, staff and service. Oh and the wildlife is fantastic too - Leopards, Elephants, Aardwolf, more birds than I can remember and much much more. A fantastic three days at Lions Bluff. Thank-you.

We have been several times to Lions Bluff, and it is one of those places where you will never get tired of going back, and on the contrary it gets better every time. The location is set in a scene that comes out of a movie (like Out of Africa). The views, the hospitality, tranquility and friendly service, makes you... More

Our family vacation to Kenya was perfect with our visit to Lions Bluff Lodge. The staff easily accommodated our group of 11 people. Naomi welcomed us as soon as we arrived with a warm wash cloth and fresh mango juice. All staff was friendly and the food made at the lodge was delicious!! We celebrated my birthday our first night... More

Great Lodge on top of a hill with stunning views. The rooms are built on stilts along the ridge and are a combination of a tent under a wooden roof and a masoned bathroom. Very charming and lovingly outfitted. The food was the best on our 5 days Safari. Although - or maybe because - there is not a big... More

Thank you for your reveiw. Yes our food choice is limited as we have so few rooms, but our chefs are capable of producing great food for the variety of tastes and religions as required. I hope that we see you back at our cosy lodge one day! More
