It was a great place to stay. Staff are very friendly. I being vegetarian was skeptical that may go on fast. But the Chef was a great man took personal interest in preparing menu that I was pampered and had homely meal. I particularly like the waterhole n looking at the vast expanse of park from my room. Great place... More

I Stayed 3 nights at this beautiful lodge on my way back from Mombasa. The cold towels when checking in were an absolute relief. The service and ambience is serene, the number of elephant herds seen was amazing. During our visit the dam had dried up which meant going further into the reserve to see animals which was an amazing... More

This was my very first time to sleep in Tsavo National Park and Ashnil Aruba was indeed an excellent choice. I had accompanied a tourism association from Mombasa for their annual dinner party. From the reception to the fine dining to partying....It was absolutely divine! The early morning game drive was quite the treat...finally saw the infamous 'man eating lions... More

1 stayed 1 night with my family and wow! Service, rooms, food, friendly staff. The cold towels were a relief for our hot & dusty faces after an en route game drive. This view over the water hole was really exciting for the kids.

Lions are almost always found hanging around the plains in front of ashnil. Food & decent sized rooms arguably the best in Tsavo east. Excellent service. Good sitout deck close to the bar but not much of a view which is the biggest drawback of this otherwise topnotch hotel.

We stayed in a luxury tent at Ashnil Aruba for two nights as part of a four day, three nights safari with JT Safari in mid October. We arrived mid afternoon, hot and dusty, and were greeted with cold lemon scented towels and icy apple juice. The staff was incredibly attentive and made us feel like long lost family coming... More

Compliments for the staff! Always smiling and Being helpfull. Even at night Someone is guiding you back to your room with a flashlight. Not that we didn't feel unsafe, but the Nice and funny chitchats on your way to the room were very amusing! Excellent food, Nice and clean rooms and a great balcony looking over a drinking pool for... More

Had a fantastic stay at the Aruba Lodge. This is a great wildlife holiday if you like to stay in one place rather than travel around. The landscape varies: bush, plains, scrub and semi desert. The lodge is top notch. The food was excellent (no tummy upsets here); it was always freshly cooked and although the restaurant is open air,... More

This is an excellent hotel. It is not overly luxurious (ala Sarova or Serena group) but it is excellent. The hotel is about a 30-40 minute drive from the Bachuma gate and is situated by the Aruba dam (which is mostly empty). It is has a fairly simple style in terms of layout, the rooms are arranged as small bungalows,... More
