A visit to the Il N'gwesi Lodge was a much welcomed change from the usual safari experience. We enjoyed all of the activities from bush hikes, individualized safaris, camel ride, parade of wildlife to the watering hole (way better than the Ark and Mountain Lodge), and a wonderful send-off. My husband and I stayed here for three nights as part of our two week safari holiday organised by the excellent team at Journeys by Design. We arrived at Lewa airstrip, and had a short wait to be collected there. We were greeted by the very friendly Lodge Manager, with two of his staff. All of the staff are local... more
