The Thomson Falls Lodge has the best location in the town of Nyahururu. Its nice old style cottages are decorated by beautiful flower gardens. The lodge has a peaceful atmosphere of a well run cosy place. The garden and green lawns are very well maintained. Trees and flowers are of a truly impressive variety, you can spend a long time... We stayed for 1 night during our 2 weeks trip around Kenya. Restaurant service that hotel provides was the best from all middle range hotels where we stayed. Romantic fireplace, garden and english style of main building make the hotel very charming place.

Took a short trip and this is one of the nicer places in Nyahururu to get some lunch. The food is ok could be better but has a nice chill outdoor place with a view to the falls. Nice place to take a break especially if you have a long drive ahead.

We stayed one night here with my family. We had a spacious triple room with a wood fire. Staff were very friendly and the food was good. It was quite cold even in January so rug up. I would stay here again.

After visiting Nanyuki Sikh Temple, Nanyuki old Railway station and staying at Mountain lodge, Mt Kenya, we passed through Nyeri and visited the Baden Powell and Jim Corbett's graves behind the Baden Powell Museum in Nyeri. Again we visited the Sikh Temple in Nyeri and then headed towards Thomson's Falls and stopped for a photo stop here. You have to... More

This year they put us in a duplex cottage. The walls were paper thin and every sound audible. We had no fire place and it is cold here at night. They offered one guest a heater that didn't work then a hot water bottle. :) Still the place is charming but next time I'll know to ask for the older... More

While I grew up knowing that T Falls Lodge was the place to stay in Nyahururu, my eperience last weekend was not a good one. The rooms are old and unkept (for lack of a better word). The wardrobes are old and provide no rail to hang clothes. The hand-held shower only provided a few drops of water. Long and... More

While the locale is idyllic, the grounds well kept and manicured and the buildings old, rustic and colonial, I could not help but feel that something was amiss. The service was mediocre and the acoustics in the rooms was terrible. I could hear every word and sigh from the room next boor!
