While I grew up knowing that T Falls Lodge was the place to stay in Nyahururu, my eperience last weekend was not a good one. The rooms are old and unkept (for lack of a better word). The wardrobes are old and provide no rail to hang clothes. The hand-held shower only provided a few drops of water. Long and... More

We stayed at this hotel in May it was the second hotel that we stayed in as part of 3night 4 day safari organised by Sid Travel round Mt.Kenya, we had seen the reviews saying it was old and in need of work but we found the hotel clean and tidy yes it is old but that makes it nice... More

Dear Walter, Thank you for the response. We are glad you chose to stay at Thomson’s falls lodge for that important and well deserved holiday. As a new management team that wishes to uphold good standards, we are presently working to modernize our facility but maintain the historical structure to preserve touristic values. We are presently offering very competitive professional... More

While the locale is idyllic, the grounds well kept and manicured and the buildings old, rustic and colonial, I could not help but feel that something was amiss. The service was mediocre and the acoustics in the rooms was terrible. I could hear every word and sigh from the room next boor!

This lodge is a Colonial style bungalow overlooking the falls with small bungalows for accommodation in the beautiful bougainvillea filled gardens. It was so quiet! Our room was large and comfortable with good hot shower and facilities, not forgetting the fire lit in the rooms and the lounge too. The clean white duvets covers and canopy mosquito nets made the... The Lodge is generally lovely. However they need to improve service, interior decor and cleanliness. The bar area and the furniture looks old. They need new ones like yesterday. Food took too long to be brought from the time we ordered.

On February 5th, 2014, my husband & I decided to visit my family in Nyahururu. It was a moment of pride as I shared a special place where I spent most of my childhood. My husband & I were so elated as we had our 1 year old with us. Our choice of stay was the Thomson falls lodge and... More

We visited the lodge not for a night but for a family picnic. The view of the water falls is great with many activities going on around the scene. The shed we were given was great and we all had a lovely time relaxing and talking. The staff were good and polite. The location of the hotel is perfect as... More

The location of the lodge is right in front of the beautiful Thompson's Falls but the service at the hotel is quite poor. Our tea was brought cold and the choice of food is pretty boring. Vegetarians can only hope for chips and perhaps a cheese sandwich. I would only go there for the view. If you can, take your... More

There are two reasons for staying here - the proximity to the top of the Falls and the wood fire in the bedroom at night. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed ourselves. The grounds are lovely to walk around and observe the flowers and bird life. We did the walk down to the bottom of the falls in the... More

We stayed here for five nights as we worked on a mission project in the nearby town. It was a very pleasant stay. The mosquito nets over the beds helped calm our fears about malaria, even though we saw fewer mosquitoes than we do at home. The shower head had a switch box to provide hot water and it worked...
