The tents in the camp are very nice and clean. The whole camp’s area is very well kept. The staff is very friendly and the management was making sure that everything is ok during our stay. The food – buffet style was very good. Overall it was a very nice camp experience in Lake Nakuru National Park.

This tented camp is an excellent choice for those who prefer a smaller lodgings over the big chains. There is a lot of personalized attention. The assistant manager knew I had stayed there on a previous safari and went out of his way to make sure we had perfect visit. We had a surprise birthday party for our friend and... More

PROS: --Picturesque Commons Areas --IN the park --Breakfast buffet (build-your-own omelet even!) --Lunch buffet (build-your-own brick oven pizza!) --they let your safari driver dine there for free --helpful staff CONS: --staff was a little TOO eager for tips. 2 or 3 people who do the work of 1 man, to try to all earn tips. we're happy to tip for... Stayed here during a safari. Arrived at lunch time and had an amazing lunch buffet! Tremendous variety of food :D The room was good, similar to most tented camps with the tent over the bedroom and a built ensuite bathroom attached. Unfortunately at the moment the water level of Lake Nakuru has risen meaning that only a tiny fraction (~100)... More

The lodging at Flamingo Inn is terrific. The tents are very nice with wonderful attached baths. The staff is always available to assist with any need. There was WiFi in the reception area, but it was slow. Our guide, Richard, was wonderful. He took us everywhere possible to see all the wildlife possible. I have many food allergies and although... Among the Kenian Safari Lodges in the middle price segment the Flamingo Hill is an exceptional one. Nothing to complain about. Excellent food and service. The tent was big enough and (specifically in the bathroom) of very nice style. Location is good - but as the park is quite small, it's difficult to not be in a good location. You... More

The camp is very nice and quite big … 29 tents (8 years ago there were <10 tents …). The camp is located close to the town and especially in the weekend, you have a lot of noise in the evenings AND nights. Also a lot of noise from barking dogs during the night. The tents are nice with a... More

We found this to be a great tented camp, wonderful setting not too far from the front gate and park drives, and very friendly service. This is a full service accommodation with a high ratio of staff to guests during our stay so we were waited on constantly. The food was good, with a great range of selection of dishes... More

The tented accommodation and the food are mediocre but comfortable and not something one should complain about. Lake Nakuru has started getting back its flamingoes and Pelicans, which is great news. We saw plenty of them. Lake Naivasha was a revelation and a bird lover’s Paradise. I strongly recommend it. No wifi was available and no one knew why. The... More

I would definitely go back to this place if I were in the area again. The staff were once again amazing. The tent was so cosy and well pointed. Lovely hot water bottles placed when they turned our beds down. Lovely bar. Food was above average - in fact it was very good food. The restaurant area itself lacked a little... More
