This was my third trip to Nakuru National Park, but my first stay at the Nakuru Lake Lodge. Yes, there is severe flooding which has happened in the past as well. Mother Nature speaking I think. We did see rhinos, lions, multiple bird species, zebras, buffalo, giraffes to name a few of the animals we found. It was sad to... More

This was my third visit to Lake Nakuru lodge over a period of 5 years. The staff are as friendly as ever, but the standard of the lodge seems to be in a steady decline compared to other safari properties. We had one of the new rooms with nice views to the distant lake, but there was an overwhelming smell... More

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night in July 2014 as part of a 10-day safari in Kenya and Tanzania. The setting of the lodge is terrific, on a hillside overlooking the lake, and they have a nice cool outdoor pool that is a welcome sight on a hot afternoon. The staff were very friendly and attentive, though... More

The rooms here are basic but nice, with good bathrooms. Most (all?) rooms have a back veranda facing out into the park. Five giraffes were nibbling the treetops in the morning -- right outside my room! Baboons scampered around, and we saw some hyraxes on the lawns. From the outdoor dining area of the restaurant, during lunch, we saw antelope,... More

The staff here were really nice and very friendly the waiters at dinner were great as there was nothing to much trouble for them . The rooms are very comfortbale but keep your doors closed... More

This lodge has a beautiful view on Nakuru Lake, because is situated on a hill just near it. Comfortable rooms and good restaurant with buffet. You can find a lot of zebras and baboons around the nice terrace of the lodge and near the swimming pool. Very nice, but too much touristic for backpackers travellers.

We stayed here for one night during our safari. The room was nice and included a double and a single bed with mosquito netting. Overall it was comfortable and clean. We were in Room 101 which had a patio with a nice view of the lake. There were water buffalo right on the other side of the fence. The bathroom... More

Generally speaking a nice enough lodge. I was placed right at the back which was a bit of a walk from the reception/bar/restaurant etc. This did mean that I had an uninterrupted view from my room but as I was only there the one night, I didn't really have the opportunity to appreciate it. Food was generally good. I was... More

We arrived late due to the hotel and the staff were happy to serve us an a la carte menu. The views from dining hall and restaurant were breath taking. The lodge located inside the national park is perfect for adventure seekers. We saw a number of wild animals including a Lion.

We spent 1 night at the lodge. The staff are very friendly and the view from the room is amazing. On the food side small improvement can be made. From the lodge you can see the lake, and the sunset from the room was amazing. definitely value for money.
