We had our trip there recently, 2 nights and the lodge barely passes the mark called average. For the price you pay, it is nothing to scream about from the roof tops. It is suitable for an overnight stay especially when on a long safari, that is always a welcome break. The rooms are basic, could do with a makeover... more

We spent one night at Lake Nakuru to do a game drive there. The lodge is set in the park and has very nice views. The rooms were large and had a balcony looking straight out. The dining area also backs onto the park and there is an outdoor area with a pool so you can while the hours away... more

The lodge is well situated within the park. It has lovely grounds, good sized swimming pool and restaurant overlooking a hippo pool. Whilst we had a good sized, comfortable room here with super views over the park towards the lake, the furnishings were looking a little tired. Buffet style meals were very average. The one thing that struck me was the wonderful location of the Lodge. There's just the electric fencing separating the wild animals from the lodge residents. In fact I could look into the eyes of two large cape buffaloes who were grazing maybe 20 ft from the swimming pool, with a thin wire acting as my saviour. Its a good... more

The staff here were extremely attentive. Our room overlooked the plains and was clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent - so much so that I asked to see the chef, something that I am not usually given to do, in order to thank him for such a lovely meal. Large lodge beautifully located on the top of a hill. Very nice view on a plain and the lake some further away. A waterhole nearby which attracted some gazelles, zebra and buffalo during our stay.
