What I should mention is that I didn't expect to find so comfortable place in the real desert! I mean, it's untouched nature around and a toilet with a flash in a camp! The camp by itself is very clean, unlike some others we passed by. The Bedouin-dressed owner (or administrator?) and stuff are very friendly, always help and try... More

Such a charming place to discover Wadi Rum through Captain's Desert Camp. Very comfy and convenient rooms with several categories to chose from. The staff arranged us a camel ride to watch the sunset which was beyond beautiful. They are very particular of the spots they chose to show you around and give you the best desert experience; from camel... More

I've stayed in this camp twice now, as a solo traveling alone in Jordan -- in last year and again in this year and i will be back again this April too Hard to beat a night in traditional Bedouin tent firming part of this authentic campsite. Watch the stars, grab a BBQ by the camp

Hard to beat a night in traditional Bedouin tent firming part of this authentic campsite. Watch the stars, grab a BBQ by the camp fire and then retire for the night under piles of blankets (we visited in the off season, winter, when temperatures dip to the 40s during the night). While there I ran with a friend in the... More

Visited Wadi Rum through Captains Camp on my families recent trip to Aqaba and had a fantastic experience. Our driver Mahmood (ask for him if you can) really knows what he is doing showing you around and although there are many tourists there he made an effort to take us away from the crowds and feel that it is just... We had a fabulous day driving across the desert and seeing the sunset. We did not stay but got to see the rooms and they were comfortable, clean and well decorated. Our driver, Muhumud, was fun, kind and made us feel welcome and relaxed; tailoring our few hours together to our family. If you book a day trip or stay... More

Mesmerising place with an amazing location in the middle of the desert. My start in the camp in morning and afternoon went really bad but i changed my opinion after evening. First of all, there are no air conditioner's and you have to sleep in a tent with a shared washroom for all. The place is blazing hot during morning's... More

Go for the experience and not the food which is not up to standard. The place had lots of feral cats running around, some of whch jumped up on the tables, they also jumped up on the grill and where eating from it. The food was indifferent and rather bland not up to an acceptable standard.
