We did the day jeep tour followed by a night in a tent and then a camel ride (about 2.5 hours) back to Wadi Rum Village. We absolutely loved it, the scenery was stunning and the whole experience was really fun. We were there mid November and it was surprisingly warm. We went out at 4am to lie in the... More

Fantastic place and the owner is great whose name is Zedane. Good value for money. Our trip included the day trip in a jeep throughout the desert which is amazing , a bed for the night in a wonderful tent including proper beds, lunch, dinner and breakfast all of which were fantastic. Lovely homemade food and the most amazing type... More

Stunning location and amazing dinner!! Sleeping in tents in the middle of the desert, under millions of stars, is just an experience to do in your life! The tour provided was interesting and saw all the major points in the desert, although none of them are special. Friendly staff.

We booked a camel trip to the camp in desert from the Wadi Rum village. That was great, especially running-not for our dannish friend though;-) After three hours in saddle we got to the camp with great location for sunset and sunrise. We had a tent with view into the valley which was great. The next day we did a day... More

The camp offered a tour, meals(breakfast & dinner), accommodation in a package at a resonable price. After all, it was a nice deal. The most exciting of all was the desert tour. The red desert of T.E. Lawreance was really unique and magnificent. Sleeping was not so comfortable in a spartan tent but it was in the desert after all.... More

We arrived to Wadi Rum from Aqaba and were welcomed with a typical Jordanian hospitality and a cup of tasty mint tea. There is a place to leave your baggage safely at their office, so we did so and set off towards the Camp with a small backpack. You can travel on foot or on a camel they provide for... More

Fantastic people, superb desert tour, excellent location for the desert camp, sunset unbelievable, good food, comfortable bed, clean hot showers right there in the desert! Brilliant fun, couldn't recommend it highly enough. AND - the base camp has wifi and British plugholes for recharging! Go immediately - what are you waiting for?

We arrived to Wadi Rum from Petra by bus and we were welcomed in their office. First we had to wait an hour or so for the previous group to come from the camp in the desert. In the mid time Eghab (I think it was him) served us some Bedouin tea. After the group came the adventure started. Our... More

Spent a night there which included the jeep tour, dinner and breakfast. the drivers (not really "guides") were very nice and the food was good as well; cooked underground which was a pleasant surprise. our driver Odeh suggested to me personally that I sleep the night out under the stars and that was amazing, a very unique experience especially if... Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Wadi Rum, the magnificent desert in the south of Jordan. Home to my tribe the Heuwaitat for thousands of years. If you are looking for a journey into the desert with a difference, then we can surely help you. We specialize in taking you off the beaten track. In this land you can walk in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia and our ancestors. You can trek in the grandeur of the landscape, or relax in the shade of a spring. You can scramble through canyons, take it all in from the back of our Jeep, or travel as we would have on a camel. If you don't have time to experience "desert time" then we can also show you all the highlights of Wadi Rum in a sandstorm of a tour. There is nothing we love more than to share the majestic beauty of our home, Wadi Rum with guests from all over the world. We can host you for the night in our camp in the protected area, with all the amenities (shower, toilets, Bedouin tents, beds, blankets etc). Or if you are feeling intrepid then we can host you in the wilderness under the stars in a Bedouin cave.I cannot describe to you how it feels to be in out in the desert, you are surrounded by all that is natural. You can have a taste of a simple life, a life that does not need luxuries but can exist at one with the environment. For us our nomadic life is one of freedom and the senses, we can listen to the wind, see the stars shining, taste food cooked in the fire and we can touch the shifting sand under our feet.I hope you will join us on one of our tours to experience all this for yourself. ... more   less
