We were staying at the Milky Way Camp in May 2014 and it was a really nice experience. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms working and clean, there is a beautiful terrace, a extra tent for dinner with a nice and capable chef. The whole experience was great. As it is in the dessert, I was surprised how they manage... More

Fantastic hospitality at the Milky Way camp. We had a lovely welcome from our host and our best meal in Jordan there. Loved the atmosphere, silence, tents, location everything really, just wish we had booked for two nights instead of one.

We spend one night at Wadi Rum. Our first night in Jordan with 3 young children. Our guide Mamdouh welcomed us upon arrival in the village and took us to a great spot for sunset. The camp is well located and offers a stunning view of the surroundings. Watching the stars at night is an incredible experience ! We also... More

We spent one night in this camp. Our host really looked after us. He cooked an excellent meal and entertained us round the camp fire. It was great to eat under the stars by candlelight. The tents are fine but you need a head torch. The facilities are basic but quite satisfactory. The stars are wonderful - no light pollution.... More

We spent one night here. A peaceful, well equipped camp with good freshly prepared food. Amazing views and more stars than I ever thought possible. We had an adventurous ride across the desert in the camp jeep and out guide sprinted to the top of a sand dune putting us to shame! Thoroughly recommended, just remember to take a torch.

This place should not be regarded as a Hotel, but like an adventure place. It is ideal for groups of young people who would like to spend a night in the desert or for active families. During the day you can do various excursions into the desert, a MUST, by Camel, Foot or Jeep. The Food was great, really tasty... More

An absolutely stunning place to stay. We had a wonderful Bedouin guide, Dahi, who sang us beautiful Bedouin songs as we went through the desert. The food was delicious and Mehet made every effort to make sure we had different delicious dishes each night that we stayed whilst Abdullah, Salem and Amahdu made us feel so welcome that we extended... We spent a very comfortable night at the Milky Way camp. The beds were comfortable, the tents clean and spacious, the linen clean (towels forgotten/not provided in our tent). The food was tasty and the service at dinner fine. The toilets were clean in the evening, though by morning there was no water left in the wash basins and 2... More

We had a marvellous stay at Milkyway ecolodge. It was all, and much more, we could ask for a perfect overnighting: such humorous and kind service by the guide, wonderfully comfortable and clean facilities, super-tasty meals made by Mathat and the unbelievably captivating scenery. They were willing to fullfill any of our needs at any time. Only one way to... More
