This is the most amazing desert experience. The tents are comfortable and there are plenty of blankets if you are cold. The food was great and the entertainment was very special with the camel and wedding party. Our hosts were wonderful people who made everyone welcome. We travelled into the desert by jeep and this was a thrilling experience but... More

A friend and i stayed in Jabal Rum for a night and it was amazing. First of all it's a camp so don't expect 5 star luxury, take it for what it is and just enjoy the experience! The tents were small but comfy, the camp itself was nice they had a central dining area where everyone gathered to eat,... More

We three were the only visitors out of a possible 600. The service was amazingly good. We spent two hours driving to various amazing locations.Visiting a Bedouin tent where we were made a fresh shay (tea) and entertained by an old man playing a single string goat skin instrument. We stopped and lit a campfire to make more shay and... More

We spent here the last night of the year. It was bitterly cold but we were given three blankets and so we manage to keep us warm enough. The Camp is big and well run. Tents tend to be fairly small and without bathroom, this being a negative detractor overall. Three years ago we were in Akakaus, Lybia and we... More

This is the place to stay in Wadi Rum. The tents are basic but comfortable, 2 soft beds and that's about it...but it's all part of the experience. 5 star tents with en suites are available at a price. Communal bathroom have private showers, hot water and are clean and very neat. Marble tops, tiled floors and a short walk... More

First of all: Wadi Rum is amazing and a must for everyone visiting Jordan. We also visited Petra, Amman, and Aqaba. Jabal Rum camp was the best memory!!! Friendly staff, beautiful beduin tents, great entertainment, the best food I had in Jordan, and a magical night under the stars in the desert is what awaited us there. It was so... More

Staying overnight in the desert is not romantic at all! I spent one night camping here for vacation with my friends on July 9 to 10, 2012. I would say that the more you expect, the more you blame on it. It’s so hot and dry while camping in my Bedouin housing. Sleeping in the tent is much like bathing... More
