Do not expect super-high maintenance or sparks nor flames, but you do get a very nice apartment as your home base for a great family vacation in Maktesh Ramon (We recommend the large family suits even if you travel with only 2 kids). Very good for families.

we enjoyed the hotel as an excellent point to explore the crater. the room was comfortable though a bit dated. staff was excellent and attentive. breakfast was very substantial; even by israeli standards. dinner was fair.

Good choice in mitszpe Ramon. Clean and simple. Good place if you go on bike expeditions. Good breakfast with varieties of foods. Parking free in the nearby neighborhood. Don't expect a locations lobby. It's simple and not as expensive as Bereshit

Basic hotel with a great pool and good location for trips to the Mactesh. Rooms are pretty basic but ok. Service at front desk was not friendly. Ask for 1st or 2nd floor as there in elevator. If you can afford it, stay at Bereshit. We took an amazing one day keep your with http://www.desertecotours.com/English/

The hotel is nice and staff is friendly. Meals are very good and the rooms are all mini suites. The only 2 drawbacks are the facts that there are no elevators in the hotel and there is no free wi-fi. If you can live with these 2issues, I would highly recommend

The hotel is located near a unique nature reserve. The place is impresive and provide very interesting tours. The hotel has basic but very spacious rooms. It offers good value for money, especially for families. It is a good base for walks around the area. I recommend to take a family suit, it comes with basic cooking facilities and kids... More

A very comfortable and welcoming hotel in a very quiet area of Israel. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable and clean. After staying in the so called "5 stars" of the Crowne Plaza in Eilat where the staff are unmotivated and unwelcoming, the difference is amazing. Apart from the swimming pool, the Ramon Inn... More

We stayed for two nights, and it was exactly what we hoped for. A small hotel, with impressively large family rooms, a very nice pool which wasn't even crowded on the weekend, excellent service, and great value for money.

Beginning with two drawbacks: No elevator (a fact that appears in the website - it you can find it), and really annoying - wifi for pay, even in the lobby. All the rest is just wonderful - comfortable rooms, very clean and well maintained. The breakfast is among the best I've had in any hotel. Lobby is warm and inviting... More
