We stayed for one night and had one of the big tents to ourselves, a party of 5 adults and 4 young children. For me there were almost no surprises, thanks to the previous reviews. The kids loved the morning camel ride (recommended), playing around the tent and the campfire. The weather was good, not too chilly at night with... More

we went on a family trip to the desert, we chose this Chan because it looked very athentic on the internet. The people there were nice but the rooms are very basic and not very well maintained. the big tents are nice but full of dust and sand, maybe thats normal for the desert. we also payed 300 shekels per... We decided to stay in this place because for us it was the best option in this area. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Meal is very good. We slept in a tent which was fine but simply a little bit too expensive.

Family of two adults and two children paid NIS 700 to sleep on filthy foam cushions on a concrete pad. No hospitality to be seen, Bedouin or otherwise (the former will cost you extra). Service staff looked like they would rather be anywhere else. Expect lots of noise at night - screaming babies, thoughtless tent-mates on the other side of... More

Great big tents, sleep 30-40 people. One side of the tent is open air, so anyone walking by sees in. Sleep on foam matts on concrete floor in sleeping bags - no pillows. Tough for older people. Food was good. You sit on the floor for dinner. Get to sit on chairs for breakfast. Clean bathrooms a short walk away,... More
