The hotel is clean and tidy but the rooms are small and claustrophobic. The noise from the open yard area can be annoying if you want to rest.We had a twin room which had enough space to move around and lay the baggage but with low ceiling and giving the impression of small. The bathroom was reasonable size with all... More

The main purpose of staying at traditional hotels in Yazd must be enjoying the ambience. One should not expect the luxury of a five-star hotel. Staying there gives you the feeling how people lived there in the past. Fahadan is one of these traditional hotels. We stayed 3 nights at this hotel when we were on vacation this Iranian New... Good option to stay in Yazd. Though not the cheapest, you will be able to sleep in a traditional house from the Yazd region with an amazing dining room and its own wind tower. If you want to stay in a traditional hotel, this is probably one of the best choices. Others have the same quality but are more expensive.... More

Hotel is very high class. It used to be a paradise garden during the Qajar dynasty after it was rebuilt to this classy and stylish hotel. One really gets the feeling that time does not pass and that you are in the past era. No problem at the reception. They also have few special things you cannot find anywhere else... More

Yazd is a magical, beautiful place and this hotel is just party this beauty. My friend described it to me and after seeing it , I totally agree that it reminds you of 1001 nights from the story of sharzad. Even if you don't stay at this hotel, definitely take a tour of it offered by one of its friendly... More

I questioned the choice of this hotel when I saw some poor reviews but was too late to change. As it turned out I was very glad we went here. The general ambience of the hotel is lovely, especially its spectacular large covered courtyard used as the dining area. We had a very nice large room with excellent en suite,... More

Untrustworthy and agressive staff: avoid this hotel!! We were travelling on our own. We booked (paid for) a room we had visited in the afternoon. When coming at the hotel in the evening the room we had paid for was not available anymore!! They showed us another room: small, without windows, dusty!! We disagreed and gave them the choice of... Very nice traditional hotel located in the old quarter of Yazd. One of our best hotels in our trip through Iran. We could not book it in advance, even we were told the day before that the hotel was full, but we showed-up and there were rooms available. This is very common in Iran, and this must be absolutely improved... More

Probably the best place of staying of all my trip around Iran. Every corner of it looks like museum and service was pretty advanced. Still wondering about last bad reviews - maybe it changed since last months. Current manager Mohammad was totally helpful, friendly and professional. This place absolutely worth the money.

Very pretty hotel with two lovely courtyards. Unfortunately, it's badly maintained (failing equipment, dangerous staircase), the staff don't know what to do, the manager is eccentric and useless, and there is no effort to make guests feel comfortable or welcome. The hotel restaurant is a short walk away - also best avoided. Plenty of other options in beautiful Yazd -... More
