Beautiful hotel on the edge of the old city. Great shopping opportunities even across from the hotel. It is a converted traditional house with some amazing rooms. One of the workers took us on a tour of the really expensive rooms, the original water catchment below the house and other and sundry sites. Worth the stay.

We stayed for 2 nights in this beautiful historical residence in the heart of the city close to many places to visit. Unfortunately, it was not the cleanest hotel we had in Iran. Clean enough to stay, but sad because the residence is build like most traditional merchant house in this desert city. Breakfast are good and standard. No free... More

This is actually an old house reconstructed in to a hotel, so there might be some limitation as a hotel (some are acceptable and some not). I loved my single bed room (room 123) which has two window on the ceiling and leads the indirect light in a very pleasant way. The Good point is there are several historic places... More

Also known as the Fahadan Great Hotel and one of four Mehr Chain Hotels in Yazd. Believe the main problem lies in the fact that the staff are clueless with the exception of one employee - the valet/luggage porter who was always attentive to our needs. Noisy room and bathroom were dirty and extremely smelly. Fabrics so badly soiled to... More

The hotel is in a charming traditional house that was the residence of a rich merchant in Qajar times. The hotel has three lovely courtyards (the largest of them serves as dining room) and a wind tower. The hotel has lots of ambience: not only the house is very beautiful and rare but also its decoration based on antique objects... More

The hotel is clean and tidy but the rooms are small and claustrophobic. The noise from the open yard area can be annoying if you want to rest.We had a twin room which had enough space to move around and lay the baggage but with low ceiling and giving the impression of small. The bathroom was reasonable size with all... More

The main purpose of staying at traditional hotels in Yazd must be enjoying the ambience. One should not expect the luxury of a five-star hotel. Staying there gives you the feeling how people lived there in the past. Fahadan is one of these traditional hotels. We stayed 3 nights at this hotel when we were on vacation this Iranian New... Good option to stay in Yazd. Though not the cheapest, you will be able to sleep in a traditional house from the Yazd region with an amazing dining room and its own wind tower. If you want to stay in a traditional hotel, this is probably one of the best choices. Others have the same quality but are more expensive.... More

Hotel is very high class. It used to be a paradise garden during the Qajar dynasty after it was rebuilt to this classy and stylish hotel. One really gets the feeling that time does not pass and that you are in the past era. No problem at the reception. They also have few special things you cannot find anywhere else... More

Yazd is a magical, beautiful place and this hotel is just party this beauty. My friend described it to me and after seeing it , I totally agree that it reminds you of 1001 nights from the story of sharzad. Even if you don't stay at this hotel, definitely take a tour of it offered by one of its friendly... More
