The hotel was ok, good breakfast and we got to meet fellow travelers. Nice twin bed room, and the bathroom was clean and working. However, the male staff in Kohan 2 was a bit of a perv so I would not recommend female solo travelers to stay at this hotel. There are 2 Kohan hotels, one on the main Imam... More

I spent 2 nights in this guest house and it was real pleasure! Calm atmosphere, lovely courtyard and quiet music were real oasis in my 2-week-trip in Iran. Very good prices so I highly recommend this place. You could feel the old days there and chill out at the hottest hours during the day and in the evening. Staff was... More

Probably the perfect place to explore Yazd. Located at the center of the "old city", yet qiuet enough to relax, great courtyard, good atmosphere, fantastic food! The manager is very helpful, the hotel very clean. The excellent tour office with its extremely helpful staff is just around the corner.

Beautiful traditional hotel with just an amazing Persian garden, for sure the best place to chill out on a hot (desert hot!) day in breathtaking Yazd. We stayed there four days and felt verry welcome. As we arrived early in the morning after all night travelling, our room was not ready. The manager, Mr. Khiyamet saw us tired, offered us... More

This was easily the worst hotel we stayed in while we were in Iran, though to be fair, it was also one of the cheapest (US $35 a night). My first impression was so awful that I immediately changed our travel plans to leave Yazd one day early. Upon our arrival, the staff was extremely rude and blamed us for... More

The courtyard with the water-basin, plants and the diwans was quite pleasant. It is possible to have not only breakfast in the courtyard but a whole meal almost at any time of the day. The rooms are quiet and very basic but they could be cleaner. The location is perfect since it is in the middle of the old quarter... More

The Hotel staff was super helpful. This hotel has a nice courtyard with wi-fi acess and complementary tea; however, it is quite run down. Our room had thrown together furniture, dirty ceiling, and the bathroom smelled like sewage. We checked out early and moved to another hotel.

This is not a 5-star accommodation, but for what you get for what you pay, it is 5-star value! The location can't be beat! The staff are very friendly and fluent in english. The rooms are comfortable, clean and warm. The courtyard is gorgeous, inviting, a great place to lounge! The Wifi, though available in the common areas only, is... More
