It was a family trip of 24 of us. The food provided was limited. Buffer also limited choice and volume. Room was not that clean. But scenery was breath taking. For relax, it was okay. Room service okay.

Silintong hotel is old hotel with 56 rooms..I stayed here 1 day before heading up to Berastagi.. Advantage - Easy access by boat from Parapat - Quiet rooms - Clean room but old Disadvantage - The cheapest room about 400.000 IDR far from the lobby and restaurant - Wifi just available in the lobby - No cable channel PS: With... Stay in this hotel is very great experience. It is located in good postition so that we can enjoy the view of lake Toba. What special from this hotel is the garden is very well-maintained. It has a special place to swim in the pool made unite with the lake.

We stayed here with a group of 40. We had dinner and breakfast provided in the dining room. Both meals were very basic Indonesian food, and served almost cold in the local way. This is an old hotel that could do with an upgrade and definitely a booster for the WiFi which only worked periodically and only in the reception... More

Stay at this hotel for 1 day company trip. Booked 6 rooms with normal rate (Rph 550k), lunch packages and ferry service (fetch n drop back to Parapat). I arrived @Sunday evening (8PM) and check in for 1 room, can't find hot water for bath, the hot water only available at morning, also no hot water maker in the room,... More

After a long flight from GB via Kuala Lumpur, to Medan, it takes another 5 hours to reach the hotel via the ferry, if your lucky. Traffic can be horrendous. Getting on the right ferry, it takes you to the hotels own pier. Hotel is basic, but the views from our own terrace, of the lake is quite remarkable. Peaceful,... More

I know that there are limited choice of hotels in Samosir and I dont expect much, but this? Unforgivable. We arrived at night and found a man sleeping on the couch. We woke him up, got the keys and got into our rooms. The room was very basic. Just beds and wardrobe. I didnt mind at first, but there were... More

The rooms are like cells in a prison, but outside scene of the hotel is very beautiful. The views are breathtaking. The restaurant is not particularly nice, and the food is not tasty. We would pick another hotel next time.

We reached this hotel by passenger ferry from Parapat and landed at the hotel's own jetty. As it was a quiet season for tourists we were given a front room overlooking the lake and the distant mainland. Our room was spacious with an en suite bathroom/shower and a verandah adjacent to the delightful tropical garden full of native orchids and... More
