I remember this hotel from the 90's when it was THE hotel.. Some new up market hotels now, so the Petro ends up mid range.. Still very comfortable, the middle of town, great staff and breakfast.. No lifts, but a casino which no one frequents.. (Well, not while I was there..)

Its a good and cheap hotel. They have a Malaysian restaurant downstairs. I took a deluxe room and it came with a suite. Rooms are service are all good. As I mentioned in title, its a business hotel. Come, finish your work and leave type.

I have stayed in Petro House for one night. A bit old but decent stay. Do not accept a high class service but its value for money. Rooms are neat and clean. Staff is friendly. Try to taka Room on first floor as the hotel do not have lift.

I visited Vung Tau so that I could tour the Australian battlefield sites during the Vietnam War. This hotel is very well located, comfortable, clean and friendly. The only down side was that not all of the staff understood English or were willing to understand English. Overall though, the majority of the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was enjoyable and... This old style hotel, has character in every way. The hotel is old, but clean. The moment you arrive till the time you leave the staff can not help you enough. The room that I stayed in was big, clean and a bed that you wanted to take home. The hotel restaurant was next to the lobby had plenty of tables and... More

Whilst this is showing its age its a nice place to stay. Rooms were dated but comfortable and we appreciated the air conditioning. It is rather quiet and we had a big day planned for ANZAC at Long Tan. Breaky was simple but fine

We didn't book a hotel with a pool as info advised beach close. Not so. Had to get a taxi as not walking distance. Cost $5 approx. hotel very noisy as building site directly next door and lots of banging and people talking loud etc in corridors. Bed was soft so my back was killing me as not used to... More

I have been here many time and to me it doesn't change that much. The Wi-fi is still slow which really bothers me to the point that I have to go down to the reception just to get a better internet connection. On the other hand, I really do enjoy their lunch and dinner menu as they offer a variety... More

I was in Vung Tau for some official work and happened to stay in Petro House Hotel in september. The place is a decent place to stay in. Rooms are clean. Having stayed in a deluxe room, had a spacious bed, bath tub and a few amenities to add to the list. The bath tub was not functioning properly, and... More
