The hotel is just across the street from the beach. The breakfast buffet is good. Being on the main road did make it a little noisy. The room was a bit small and dated but good enough for a night or two stay. I would consider going again for an overnight trip if I went to Vung Tau again.

We decided to get away from Ho Chi Minh City and took the ferry up to Vung Tau, booked the Green hotel after looking at the reviews on trip advisor, booked a room with partial sea view from the balcony, side sea view although no room on balcony for furniture, rooms a little dated but good aircon, breakfast buffet included... We didn't stay in the hotel, we traveled on a budget, but the breakfasts served buffet meals were a nice treat now and then. A rich variety of foods both local and western. Our kids loved it and it was well worth the money. The buffet is open between 6:30-9:00 everyday and you pay in the hotels' reception for the... More

Our room on the 6th floor was very comfortable, clean, with a balcony and view of the sea. The booking said "partial view" but it was still a good view. Reasonable price. The staff is very nice. Most have some English. The beach is conveniently right across the street. Back Beach gets crowded on weekends and can be a bit... More

Very close to the beach, very nice staff. The beds were hard and a bit uncomfortable but not the worst we've tried on this trip so far. Good value for money. We wouldn't, however, recommend female travellers travelling alone in this area and/or going to the beach in normal swimwear ie. bikini and swimsuit.

I stayed at this hotel with my relative in April 2015 for a family visit in Vung Tau. The staff was super nice and helped carry my 2 heavy suitcases up to the 4th floor. The breakfast service was good and very busy because they allowed outside guests to use the restaurant. Some dishes were cold and tasteless. I also... More

The green hotel is on the what they call back beach. My room overlooked the beach and was pleasant. The main problem was the wind on this side. Blowing a Gail and the windows were rattling. Breakfast a little sparse, Very clean. Staff helpful and well spoken English.

Great Hotel!! Nice view of the beach from our room, room and hotel was very clean, the staff was incredibly friendly The hotel is across the street from the beach, you can be out of your room and in the ocean in five minutes! One of our favorite restaurants' is a five minute drive away

I nearly gave this place three stars. It was very cheep so it would be unreasonable to expect too much. The hotel is located close to the South Beach. This is the best beach, but the bars and nightlife are over the other side of town. The problems were there was building work next door so there was noise during... More

I traveled to Vietnam last year with an "old" Army buddy. We had visited Vung Tau when we were there in the 60's and wanted to see how things had changed. As expected, Vung Tau had become the local beach resort town for the residents of Saigon. The Green Hotel is located directly across the street from the beach with... More
