We booked 2 superior rooms, 2 adults and 1 child in each {aged 11 & 8} , upon check in was told children over 6 were classed as adults and we had to pay extra Aus$10 per night per child , damm ridiculous Breakfast was catered for asian tastes , mainly noodles, rice soups , no bacon, ham or cereals... We enjoyed our stay at Ky Hoa Hotel. Our room had a balcony overlooking the sea. The hotel was built on a mountain slope, so the view is excellent. Gives a feel of being in the Mediterranean. The buffet is okay, cater more to local tourists and could use some English captions. I am gluten sensitive, lactose intolerant and allergic... More

A very nice hotel, comfortable rooms and good quality service. Nice swimming pool too. And a very consistent breakfast. I recommend it greatly to anyone visiting VungTau, whether as a family venture or as touring by.

Rooms were basic, tidy but very tired. Creaky door, noisy aircon, PLASTIC sofa. Breakfast finished at 9am, even on the Sunday. And what was there looked like it wouldn't make the school canteen - stale bread, sweetened milk, disgusting unidentifiable meat objects, powdered juice (like Tang but cheaper). This was not a breakfast, it wouldn't even make the school lunch... More

My family stayed at here 3 nights. It is pretty close to Ho May park. There are lots nice restaurant with good price around. Specailly, it take 10' by bike to go to Ganh Hao restaurant(my favourite restaurant) and 15' by bike to dog racing place. Staff is friendly and nice. Room is ok: clean, good view but some stuff in... This hotel we chose to replace another in Vung Tau. We have already managed to swim in the sea, so no beach near us was not a big problem. Like almost everywhere in Vietnam, there we were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. The rooms were large with balconies. Excellent wi-fi. When there are not too many guests, buffet breakfast... Positioned on the hill, with some sea views, the hotel looks pleasant. The rooms are pleasant too. However, the pool is too small to cater for weekend crowds - and with no separate kids pool, I decided not to swim since there were a dozen or so littlies in there without waterproof nappies. Which is a pity as that was... More

We chose this hotel because it had a pool and that turned out to be the best part of the place. The hotel comprises three buildings set into the side of a steep hill. the pool is at the bottom and reception at the top. It is a long hot haul from the pool if you are staying in the... More

Having spent the past 3 weeks touring Vietnam North to South I decided to spend my last few days in this wonderful country in Vung Tau at this establishment...upon arrival i was 'greeted' by the snootiest individual I had come across in the whole 3 weeks, my mere presence enough to upset this ladies day. After the briefest check in... More
