I've stayed at the Imperial Hotel in Vung Tau on business more than once and was always satisfied. The staff are friends, rooms are plush and quiet, and the property itself is a bit like a museum with quirky artwork all over. I think it's priced about right, maybe a bit expensive, but it's good. Directly bear the beach if... More

I am surprised when I skim though all of the bad reviews and answers from the management are "sorry" and "promise" to improve, and they got nothing more than that. I stayed with my family here on our member VIP card. We booked a room with 2 beds, they gave us a one bedroom. Of course when we couldnt accept... More

After a couple of weeks travelling, we booked this hotel to recharge our human batteries. It is a big hotel, with spacious rooms. The theme is Victorian, which they have used all over the place. It felt a bit like Disney. The beds are 1.80 or 1.90 m long, which is really too short for the average north European male.... More

The hotel carries the Victorian theme down to the smallest detail - so it was quite fun without being kitsch. Room was comfortable. Hotel provides free shuttle to and from hydrofoil point and hotel, which was a very nice touch. Cross the road to the beach and pool where towels and cocktails are available. Had to take a telcon business... More

I live in Vung Tau and one of my favourite places to escape to is the often overlooked coffee shop in the foyer of the Imperial Hotel. Even though the coffee shop is in the immense hotel foyer it has been designed in such away to be intimate and cosy, but still able to see what is happening. Relax in... More

Hotel is old and gorgeous. While it does show its age in some ways, including a mix of modern technology and mid-last-century design, which is quirky. Very charming and the staff is outstanding in terms of care, service and politeness. Only real complaint was number of families with small children that were sometimes loud and unruly within the hotel's public... More

I and daughter have a holiday weekend here. Overall, nice hotel, good location, friendly staff. But there are two things I really did not feel comfortable. I booked Premium Deluxe double room for 2 adults and 2 children under 12 years. But the hotel provides bathroom furnishings is just enough for one person. Items are cheap, do not deserve the... We've stayed here twice now, and it really is a nice place. The staff are very friendly and the service good. When you check in you are offered to relax and wait with an orange drink while the paperwork is done - bit of a gimick but quite nice. First time we stayed we included breakfast which was very comprehensive... More

We contacted the hotel for transportation from Ho Chi Minh City. The driver was excellent and provides a great and safe ride to Vung Tau. We were met by bell men and front desk staff and were treated like royalty. The breakfast in the morning was superb even my picky eater daughter had plenty to choose from. The rooms were... More

I submit this review because of its historical significance to many of the soldiers who fought in the Vietnam War, particularly the Australians The Imperial Hotel is now one of Vung Tau's grandest hotels, rating six stars. But back in the 1960s and 1970s this exact site was the Peter Badcoe VC Club, where Australian soldiers could take a few... More
