It has great staff who will remember you the second time you return to stay. Rooms wise, it is acceptable and they are doing renovation to refurbish the hotel. Near to restaurant and drinking holes Overall, nice stay

This hotel is located in Front Beach, small area for walk but is nice and near in good restaurants. The hotel need repairs in many things, smells humidity, no fresh air in the hotel area. No elevator, too noisy from the locals, music from the clubs around, very small but quiet gym, share swimming pool with Palace hotel, Very expensive... More

Grand Hotel, NOT so grand any more. Central location, close too beach. Rooms are large but out dated, beds are like rocks need a mattress topper, good luck. Needs a lot of TLC. Breakfast so so. If you still want to try get a back room, beach front are very noisy.

While still the most centrally located hotel in vung tau , the grand hotel is definitely in need of some maintenance and updating ! For what are claiming to be and what they are charging , there is a great divide as to what they are delivering ! Almost everything about this hotel is tired , from the peeling facade... More

The location is really good. In front the ocean. Unfortunately nothing what you can call beach, but a long beautiful, clean beach front, where you can relax. The rooms in the ground floor, where I stayed first, are smelling moldy and you had a view out of the window on a wall 1 m far away. But it was no... More

We stayed at this hotel in December 2013, the rooms were large and very well appointed, comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. We booked on Bookings.com, a pool view room, I realised shortly after checking in that it had no pool view, the staff apologise, showed me a pool view room, which I did not like so much as the... All things considered, the hotel is quite reasonable. Personally, I love the older colonial type buildings with the high ceilings, wide doors and wood everywhere and that's what this hotel offers. I was in a balcony room overlooking the front courtyard. Sure, music can be heard some evenings but it had always stopped by 2300 hours so unless you got... More

We stayed at this hotel with a large group of travellers. The rooms vary from musty and dark (in the old part of the hotel) to large & spacious apartments in the new part. The bathrooms all looked a little run down and in need of renovation (even in the newer part). The pool area is great, and the location... More

Very gracious, old fashioned hotel. We stayed here only one night - was given a city view room and requested an upgrade to sea view room which they did without any hesitation (at an additional cost) Unfortunately ours did not have a table and chairs on the deck, maybe just an oversight. Staff very friendly and polite. Breakfast fantastic. Would... More

Stayed 3 nights at the hotel, room was upgraded to 1 room apartment, huge and spacious. Bed was comfortable and wifi is free. Very good wifi connection everywhere in the hotel. Room service is good, you will get your food within 15 mins, try thier grilled salmon, its tasty. The hotel is right infront of the beach and you will... More
