The rooms were huge and beautiful. Breakfast was good. Service was average. The location was great for seeing Trang An, Tam Coc, other attractions and for a staring point for treks. Not a lot of food choices around the hotel. We eventually found a great local restaurant close by that was very good and very cheap. No foreigners at all... More

This vacation we already visited 30 hotels / guesthouses in Thailand, Laos and Vietnam, but this is one of our favorites. Good management excellent staff. You are threated like a VIP. We also did the home-stay they proposed to Phu Luong,,enormous experience, if you plan to to this trip ask for Toan as a guide he is really the topexpert.... More

Size of room and price is decent. Breakfast abysmal. Hotel just a bit strange with random comings and goings at massage parlour. We used it as a base, nothing more. There are probably better places for same price if you look around.

I stayed here for two nights. The manager fetched me and my big luggage from the drop of point. He takes great care to make his guests feel welcome and well cared for, always finding a little bit of time for a chat. My room was spacious, if a little spartanous, the bath not the best I've had but okay.... More

Our room included breakfast, which was good and you could select from several dishes. The restaurant has good food at reasonable prices. The downfall of this accommodation is that it's too close to Highway 1 and if you're a light sleeper (like me), you won't be sleeping much as it's very nosy; there's only about 2 or 3 hours early... restaurant is decent and price is alright too. they do motorbike rental (5usd for centrifugal clutch and 6usd for a scooter). theres a rad karaoke place down the road away from the main road then make a left. they organised a motorbike/walking tour to a homestay place with a rad swimming hole. ultimate funtimes were had.

We stayed one night as were passing through the town. Hotel is basic and ideal for a short stopover, managerial staff were welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately our stay was tarnished after we opted for a hotel massage to sooth tired legs after a long day cycling. The masseuse was very, "VERY" inappropriate...get my drift. After being asked to stop she... More

We had a great time at the Kinh Do Hotel. Mr Luong makes a great front man with some of the best people skills I have seen yet in Vietnam. We did a day moto tour to see some of the local hot spots with the hotel drivers, one spoke good English and was a guide for us which we... More

This hotel is not a luxury hotel but they have something else! Very helpful reception, different types of interesting tours. We took two tours, one walking tour in the mountains, and one DMZ tour and we had great guides in both of them.

Stayed here 3 nights . We have been to Ninh Binh 3 previous times and decided to try a different hotel and area.Staff pleasant and helpful, meals great very tasty and the best rice wine we have had. Electricity can be dodgy in this part of town the power went off at least once or twice a day but the hotel... More
