We stayed here for 2 nights to explore the dry Ha Long Bay! Mr Dung speaks perfectly english and he has been very helpful and kind. He even accompanied us on a motobike trip to the attractions not far away. We never had the feeling of getting ripped of, indeed quite the opposite, Mr Dung was not pushy at all,... More

Cheap hotel. A little far away from the town center, but very easy walking distance, 10 - 15min. The manager Dung was a super friendly guy and went out of his way to make sure everything was ok for us. While we were there we hire a few scooters to explore the national park and surrounding area's, they got us... More

After a 2-3 hour motorcycle ride I rolled into Ninh Binh and started to look up hostels. Found this place on Tripadvisor and Hostelworld and such. Looked worth a look and I went to find the business. Google Maps has the address wrong...they may have fixed it by now though. I called the number, which was correct, and told them... More

Stayed at Nhaviet while exploring the Ninh Binh area in mid-May. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Dung (hope I got the spelling right) and another really cool, super friendly lady. She spoke very little English but she made the effort to communicate (as did I with my even less Vietnamese) and made me feel at home... More

The staff were very attentive upon check in and seemed more than delighted to have Western guests. From this point on, they couldn't do enough for us. A young Vietnamese man was telephoned immediately as we checked in and was, from what we could make out, at our beck and call from the moment we woke up until we went... More

The hotel occupies a new building wich, on the one hand, is nice. But all the area is literally growing out of nowhere, so you'll get a construction view from all the rooms. As the area is being developed, the is no cafes or other places to go nearby, it's about 10 minutes to a street where you can find... More

The hotel is a new building in an area where more buildings are being build (construction site athmosphere), but the centre, trang an and tam coc are very close, you can go there by bike which is... We arrived at Ninh Binh trainstation at 00:11 midnight and they came pick us up with the motorbike free of charge. Then we got a good room for not much money. The food is good to and the hotel is close to the city center. The people from the hotel are very friendly and not pushing you to do tours... More
