We had a good stay for 2 nights. As previous visitors has written, the rooms are not very clean, the bathroom is wet because it has no shower curtains, you get woken up a few times from the train horn. However, the staff is super friendly, always helpful and speaks good english. We got the free mango juices and a... More

We stayed here for one night and the staff were brilliant in helping us organise a trip to the local caves and an amazing day to the National Park with some local guides on mopeds - really such a great way to see the park, highly recommended! The breakfast was great here and the room did what we needed: clean,... More

The hotel is family run but all staff is very friendly and professional. They speak good English and have good advice on local sights and tours. They also offer cooking classes in the breakfast area for $5. The free breakfast is very yummy, make sure you try one of their noodle soups for breakfast. You can rent motorbikes for $6... More

We stayed with the 3 of us for 2 nights in the hotel, we had a good room! The staff at the reception was very nice, the guy for surewe drove from Phong Nha to Ninh Binh in 1 day, which was 400km! Our bikes were destroyed, the lovely staff helped us to go to good mechanics and translate everything!... More

As a positive, the hotel staff were nice. I would not recommend this hotel. There was mould on the dining tablecloths and cupboard in the room. The worst part was the musty/mouldy smell in the room, which permeated everything and was not relieved by opening the window (which looked into the hallway). The floor in the hotel didn't feel clean... More

The positive comment i can make about the hotel was that the staff were friendly. The hotel itself constantly had a dirty floor and the tablecloths had mould on them. The room had a terrible musty/mouldy smell, which seemed to permeate the entire room, and was not relieved by opening a window (which looked into the hallway). The walls are... More

The reception staff is friendly, speaks good English and is trying to provide good customer service and allowed us to leave bags while out on a tour and even brought up an evening mango drink. Very sweet! However, good service can only go so far when the room has the following problems: so mouldy smelling that it was almost choking... More

We stopped here on our way down south via motorbike. Although we did not interact with the staff much because we were too tired, they nevertheless were really nice and we felt very welcomed. The location is really great and you can walk to many restaurants and I think also the train station. They gave me a HUGE baguette for... More

Stayed there for 1 night and had a great a time. The staff is EXTREMELY helpful. They want to make the best of your time there. The room was very clean, though extremely humid and cold since we were there in January. Had to put the heater very strong which helped a bit. Not a complaint though! :-) Great bed... More
