This place is rated as 4 Stars. I am not sure of the standard you need for 4 Stars in Vietnam, but this would hotel would struggle to get 3 anywhere else. Reception were not pleasant and that was just the start of a very poor experience. The place is dirty and run down, although the front façade looks new.... More

Hai Phong is a much more quieter town compared to the hustle and bustle of HCM city and Hanoi. Service - Generally good as in most Vietnamese hospitality. No major problems for English speaking tourists. Location - <10mins via hotel/airport transfer. Seems quite far by walking standards to what seems like the main street where restaurants / street shops are... More

The Seastar hotel is a good hotel at a good location if you are in Haiphong for bussiness. For a travelling family it is not so great. The pool was small and not too clean. The location between the towns center and the harbour wasn't very convenient for us. There are a lot of reastaurants near by, which were all... More

This was a good stop over for us; the hotel staff was professional and the room clean. We used the spa (included) and we were happy with it. The position is ok but honestly there is not much to see in Haiphong so we decided to walk to the multiplex 10 minutes away, which is also a shopping mall.

Located along one of Haiphong's major thoroughfare, this fairly new hotel has all amenities expected from a 4-star establishment. The rooms are well equipped, but the beds were too hard for my taste. The building has a poor sound-proofing which may be annoying if you have noisy neighbours, but also the street noise can be perceived. The breakfast buffet is... More

This hotel is located in the one of the main streets (heavy traffic) a modest walking distance to a nice shopping mall. Our company booked 5 days for a business visit, and as mentioned in previous reviews, the price is higher for foreigners...I guess this is typical in this part of Vietnam. The décor is very old fashion as well... More

I don't think I will come back to this hotel after my short stay here. My room was on the 9th floor and there was no wifi signal though I asked the staff to check. When I first openned the bath room, I was almost fainted because of the bad drain smell. There was no hook or shelf in the... More

Stayed here for 3 Nights for business, choose the standard room. Room itself is furnished well, floors carpeted, clean, minibar, 32 inch LED TV, Bed is comfortable. Toilet just barely makes the mark. Free Wifi and speed is good. Overall I would say the room is ok. nothing luxurious but good enough for my business travels. The breakfast is quite... More
